BEFORE YOU START

Contact a licensed electrician if you are uncomfortableperforming electrical work. A licensed electrician must installthe fan if required by local code. Do not use the fan with a dimmer switch. Turn off power at breaker

Installation

Disassembling the Motor Assembly:

  1. Take the motor assembly out of the box, use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the canopy screws and the mounting plate. Save canopy screws for later use.
  2. After taking out the light kit, remove one screw from the the centre fixing plate of the motor assembly, and loosen but DO NOT remove the other two keyhole screws,and remove the light kit pan. Save the removed pan screw for later use.

Motor Assembly Installation:
You have two options for mounting plate installation. Pick which one works best for your location.
Note: For better fan performance, make sure the mounting plate is level.
Option 1: Fasten the mounting plate with the wood setscrews (included) when securing to the wooden ceiling beam or support structure with approved electrical outlet box.
Option 2: Use machine screws (provided with outlet box) and washers when securing to existing ceiling fan-rated outlet box. If the mounting plate is installed at the outlet box, it should be installed on the outlet box with the screws that came with your outlet box itself. Pull the supply wires (the black, white and ground wires) out of the outlet box and through the hole in the mounting plate and lay them to the side.
Note: DO NOT use the plastic outlet box. Use only U.L. listed outlet boxes marked”Acceptable for Fan Support of 15.9 kg (35 Ibs)or less”.Additional washers (not included) may be needed to insert between the outlet box and mounting plate. TRENTO-3-Blade-Smart-Ceiling-Fan-LED-Light-Kit-

Installing the Light Kit Pan, Light Kit and Lampshade:

  1. Push the light kit pan to the fixing plate of motor hub so that the two loosened screw headsfit into
    the keyhole slots. Feed the light wire connector plug from the fixing plate through center hole of the light kit pan.Turn the light kit pan clockwise. Install back the last pan screw.Make sure all the screws are firmly tightened.

  2. Allow the light wire connector plug to come through the light kit. Install back the light kit and the light kit is magnetically attracted to the pan with the help of magnet. Installing the Lampshade:
Rotate the lampshade clockwise until it locks into the motor assembly tightly as shown in Fig 6.1.
After installation,the lampshade as shown in Fig 6.2.

Power on

Remote Control Operating Instructions:

Pairing the Remote Control to Your Fan within 1 min. of plugging tan to power source, press and hold button for 3 sec. to pair remote control and fan. Successtul pairing will trigger the fan lamp off.

  2. SWITCHES between summer mode and winter mode.

  5. Turns the tan on and Increases fan speed.

APP Control Connection:

  1. First download the free Carro Home app from the App Store or Google Play or scan the QR Code as below.
  2. Note: This ceiling fan needs to use 2.4Ghz wifi to work when you connecting the device, and after connecingit can use the 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz.
  3. Open the Carro Home app to create your account. The account with
  4. Carro Home can be registe red through E-mail or Mobile phone.
  5. Connect the device to the Carro Home app (Four ways connection):
  6. Bluetooth connect (WIFT & Bluetooth on)
  7.  Fress * Duton into the device ist, tnen a window wil pop up to snow you some devices can connected
  8. .Click “Go to add” (if you click Do not add’ in mistake. please see “Do not add’ steps).
  9. Connect to your home WIFI, then back to the app and wait for connectin9

  12. then select “Ceiling Fan Switch” or “Ceiling Fan'” and tap next.

  23. Smart ceiling fan: Press and hold the WIFI button on the remote for 5 seconds into AP Mode.
  24. Smart switch: Press and hold the “OFF” button for 10 seconds till the indicator light blinking slowly to into AP Mode.
  25. Press +” button to select “Electrical “(smart switch) or “Air Circulation”(smart ceiling fan) on the sidebar menu then select “Ceiling Fan Switch” or “Ceiling Fan” and tap next.

Care and cleaning:

  1. Check ine support connections, Drackets, and airio attachments twICe a year, Make sure they are secure. Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose over time. t is not necessary to remove the tan trom the celing
  2. Clean your fan periodically. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
  3.  (Optional) Apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood blades.
  4.  (OptiOnal) cover small scralches with a lignt application o shoe polish.

DO not:

  1. Use water when cleaning. water could damage the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock.
  2. Apply oil to your fan or motor. The motor has permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings.
    Note: Power off the fan before product maintenance or cleaning the fan.
