Settings
In order to connect this product to the Internet and use various functions, it is necessary to connect this product to a wireless LAN.
Installation
1 Connect to a power source
- Connect the DC plug of the AC adapter to the DC input terminal (on the bottom) of the product and connect the AC adapter to the power outlet.
- The operation lamp will light up when the power is turned on, and the operation lamp will turn off after startup is complete.
- This product starts up automatically when it is connected to a power source. There is no power switch.
Connecting to a wireless LAN
- When you turn on the power for the first time (if you are not connected to a wireless LAN), the display will show the wireless LAN connection instructions. Follow the instructions to set up the connection.
[ Connecting using the wireless LAN Easy Connection ]
- When connecting to a wireless router using the Wireless LAN Easy Connection , please do so as close to the wireless router as possible.
1 Press the Settings ( ) button, and select “Wireless LAN Settings” > “Wireless LAN Easy Connection”.
2 Within 60 seconds, press the WPS button on the wireless LAN router.
You may also see “AOSS”, “Easy Wireless Start”, or “Wireless Settings Button”.
When you see the message “You have successfully connected using the wireless
LAN Easy Connection,” the connection is complete.
[ Connecting by specifying the SSID ]
1 Press the setting button ( ), and select “, Wireless LAN Settings” > “Specify SSID”.
2 Use the buttons to select the SSID you want to connect to, and then
press the Enter button.
This product should be connected in the 2.4GHz frequency band.
3 Enter the password and press the Enter button.
- Set the password by using buttons while watching the screen. If you are using a computer that has an encryption key, you will need to use the “encryption key”, “security key”, “network key”, or even “WEP key” or “WPA key” depending on the encryption standard.
When the message “Successfully connected” is displayed, the connection is complete.
Initialization
[ Setting the alarm ]
- When you set an alarm, the light will gradually brighten according to the time you set.
- You can set the alarm to sound at the time when the brightness is at its maximum.
- Press the light on button ( ) to stop the alarm sound.
1 Press the Settings ( ) button to select “Alarm Settings”.
2 Follow the instructions on the display to set the alarm.
[ Setting the language ]
1 Select “Language Settings” > “Select Language”
2 Follow the prompts to set the language.

[ Connecting to the app ]
1 Select “App Linkage” to display the linkage code.
2 Launch the app and enter the linkage code displayed on the screen
according to the app’s instructions.
- When linked to an app, you can check your sleep record from the app.

In such a case
- If it does not work, check the following items.

The wireless LAN is not connected.| Trying to connect at 5GHz.| The wireless
LAN of this product is for 2.4GHz only. Use a wireless LAN router that can use
2.4GHz.
Can’t connect to the Internet.| The wireless LAN router is not connected to
the Internet.| Connect other devices such as a smartphone to the same
wireless router and check if you can connect to the Internet via wireless LAN.
Display does not showup| The display will turn off after a certain period of
inactivity.| Press the ENTER button or any other button to turn on the
display.
- If the above steps do not solve the problem, unplug the AC adapter and restart the product. If this does not solve the problem, please contact your dealer as there is a possibility of malfunction.
Safety Precautions
First, please read this “Safety Precautions” carefully to ensure proper use. This section explains what must be observed in order to prevent harm to people and damage to property.

Do not use anything other than 100V AC.

Do not use overseas.
This may cause a fire or electric shock.
This unit is for use in Japan only. Do not use this unit with a ship’s power supply, a generator, or an overseas power supply with a different voltage. -
Do not use the product in a manner that exceeds the rating of the outlet or extension cord.

When unplugging the AC adapter from the power outlet, do not pull the cord forcibly.
Do not pull on the cord. Pulling on the cord may cause damage to the cord, resulting in fire or electric shock.
If the AC adaptor is damaged, contact your dealer. -
Do not allow infants to lick the AC adapter.
It may cause injury or electric shock. -
Do not connect the supplied AC adapter to any other equipment.

Do not connect the supplied AC adapter to any other device.
Doing so may result in fire or electric shock.
Do not connect any other AC adapter than the one supplied with this product to this unit. -
Do not damage the AC adapter.

Do not pull on the AC adapter cord.
Do not scratch, modify, forcibly bend, pull, twist, place heavy objects on, or pinch the cord. Doing so may damage the power cord, resulting in fire or electric shock. -
Do not put the packing bag or small parts within reach of infants.
Covering the bag or accidentally swallowing small parts can cause choking.
Do not plug or unplug the AC adapter or DC plug with wet hands, as this may cause electric shock, burns, or injury.

Remove dust from the plug of the AC adapter periodically.
Dust and moisture can cause poor insulation, which may result in fire or electric shock. -
Make sure the AC adapter is plugged in all the way to the back of the outlet. Be sure to plug the AC adapter all the way into the wall socket to prevent fire or electric shock due to short circuit.

In the event of an abnormality or malfunction, stop using the product immediately, unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet, and disconnect the DC plug from the main unit.
There is a risk of smoke, fire, and electric shock.

Precautions for radio waves
- This product uses a wireless LAN. The wireless LAN used is certified as a radio equipment for low-power data communication system radio station based on the Radio Law, and does not require a radio station license.
- Since this wireless LAN has obtained construction design certification, disassembly or modification of this product may be punishable by law.
- This wireless LAN uses radio waves in the 2.4GHz band. Therefore, do not use it in places where radio interference may occur, such as microwave ovens, or near objects that use 2.4GHz radio waves.
- The radio channel of this wireless LAN uses the same frequency band as the following devices and radio stations.
Industry-Science-Medical equipment
2.4GHz band mobile identification radio equipment for premises radio stations (radio stations requiring a license)
Specified low-power radio stations (radio stations not requiring a license)
This wireless LAN may interfere with the above devices and wireless stations,
so please be aware of the following points.
(1) Before using this wireless LAN, make sure that there are no 2.4 GHz band
mobile wireless devices operating in the surrounding area.
(2) In the unlikely event that radio interference occurs from this wireless
LAN to 2.4 GHz band mobile wireless equipment, immediately change the
frequency channel to be used to prevent radio interference.

Warranty Policy
Repair warranty
This product will be repaired or replaced free of charge only in the event of
a malfunction of this product that occurs under proper operating conditions
within the warranty period stated in the warranty card.
Free Warranty
The warranty does not apply in the following cases
(1) If the dealer does not indicate the date of purchase on the warranty card,
or if the dealer cannot provide proof of the date of purchase (such as a
receipt).
(2) If the warranty card is not presented, the product will be disposed of.
(3) If the warranty card is found to be forged or altered.
(4) If the product is damaged due to modification, disassembly or repair by
the customer.
(5) In the event that the product malfunctions due to non-compliance with the
usage environment and methods specified by our company.
(6) In the event of failure or damage due to shock, dropping, etc. occurring
during transportation after the purchase of the product.
(7) In case of failure or damage due to external factors such as earthquake,
fire, other natural disasters, pollution, etc.
(8) In the event that any other reason that does not warrant free repair or
replacement is discovered.
(9) When any of the following prohibited operations are recognized in the

Repair
- For repair, take the product to your dealer or distributor with this warranty card attached to the product.
- If it is difficult to repair the product and we are unable to replace it with the same model, we may replace it with another product that has the same or better performance than the product covered by the warranty.
- Regardless of whether there is a charge or no charge, we will dispose of any old parts or products that have been replaced as a result of repair.
Disclaimer
Except in the case of intentional or gross negligence on the part of our
company, our liability for damages for default or tort shall be limited to the
purchase price of the product.
We shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or psychological damages or lost profits resulting from the failure of this product.

This warranty is valid only in Japan.
