Replacing an Existing Light

When replacing an existing light:

A: If the previous light used a female Deutsch plug connector, unplug the old light and plug in the new one.
B: If the previous light used a large screw plug, unplug the old light and use an adapter piece (Part# NWSPL-DPM) to connect the new light using the Deutsch plug connector.
C: If the previous light was hardwired, hardwire the included 8 wire lead into the existing wiring harness and plug it into the back of the light.

Installing a New Light

When installing a new light:

Option 1 : Hardwire the included 8 wire lead into your existing wiring harness and plug it into the back of the light.
Option 2 : Purchase an extra wiring harness (NWH1 for one light or NWH2 for two lights) and plug the Deutsch plug(s) from the wiring harness directly into your light.

FAQ

Q: How do I know which wiring harness to use for my application?
- A : If connecting one light, use NWH1. If connecting two lights, use NWH2.

The following lights in this series come with a built-in

Deutsch connector in the back:

NHI16F, NHI12WF*, NH11205*
( NHI12WF & NH|12OS come with a high power large Deutsch connector)

These lights come with an 8″ wire lead with a Deutsch plug to connect to the back of the light.

When replacing an existing light check how the previous light is connected to the wiring.

A: The previous light also used a female Deutsch plug connector: unplug old light and plug in the new one (provided that the wiring is long enough).
B: Previous light used a large screw plug to connect with vehicle wiring: unplug old light and use an adapter piece (Part# NWSPL-DPM). Plug in your new light using the Deutsch plug connector.
C: The previous light was hardwired into the vehicle’s wiring harness: hardwire the included 8″ wire lead into the existing wiring harness and plug it into the back of the light.

Hardwire the included 8″ wire lead into your existing wiring harness, then plug it into the back of the light.
