ZEROPONE ZP-LTFS-4S Outdoor Handrail Kit
ZeroPone handrail for outdoor steps
Warning
Improper installation can lead to failure of the rail system and/or injury.
While the railing kit is designed for Do-It-Yourself (DIY), if in doubt,
please consult with a licensed contractor for the proper installation of both
the railing and most importantly ground attachment method.
Time Required
- Rail Assembly – 30 minutes Ground Attachment – 60 minutes
- Ground attachment installation time varies due to drill type and surface prep required.
Tools Required
- An electric drill/hammer (for anchors).
- An impact drill is preferred (although not required) for installing the concrete bolts for concrete steps, lag screws for wooden steps, or other ground attachments.

Post-Cover Installation:
Place the post cover over the post. -
Attachment of Post (Smaller) Brackets:
- Affix the two smaller post brackets to the post.
- Secure with four flat-end screws, using two screws per bracket.

Top Rail (Larger) Brackets Attachment:
Attach the top rail brackets, ensuring they both face the same direction. -
End Caps Insertion:
Insert the end caps into the appropriate locations. -
Loose Assembly of Handrail on Ground:
Assemble the handrail loosely on the ground, preparing for final adjustments

Post to Ground Attachment

Positioning:
- Place the post, ensuring it is at least 1.5〃 (3.8cm) away from the edges.
- Align the post baseplate parallel to the edges.

Marking Holes:
Mark the hole locations on the post baseplate. -
Drilling:
Use a drill bit to drill a hole straight down at the centre of each marked location. -
Preparation for Securing:
Prepare the tools needed to secure the post to the ground. -
Securing with Lag Screws:
Install lag screws through the drilled holes to securely attach the post to the ground.

Secure Your Handrail
- Secure Your Handrail
- Using the provided self-drilling screws, carefully hold them in place and apply force to drill them through the pre-made holes on the brackets into the metal railing. This will securely lock the metal in place. Exercise caution to avoid any potential injury to your fingers during this process.
- Tip: Apply force when screwing on the self-drilling screws.
