Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the two Phillips-head screws on the front of the control panel.
- Determine the perforated hole for the 9-pin connection cord.
- Disconnect the existing button panel’s 9-pin connection cord from inside the range hood.
- Thread the cord through the selected perforated hole and connect it to the control panel’s cord.
- Secure the control panel with three screws into a nearby wall or cabinetry.
- Adjust the placement of screws based on mounting preference.
- Re-secure the face of the control panel with the removed screws to complete installation.

ZLINE’s ADA Compliant Convertible Vent Wall Mount Range Hood (model KB-H-30) includes a portable control panel with an extra long 9-pin connection cord. This allows the panel to be installed to the wall or cabinet below the hood for convenient countertop operation.

To install the convertible control panel, remove the two Phillips-head screws on the front of the control panel.

Determine which perforated hole (see image at left) to remove for the 9-pin connection to go through. Others can be used for mounting holes if you wish to secure the panel from above or below (refer to step 4 for more details).

From the inside of the range hood, disconnect the 9-pin connection cord from the existing button panel, filter the cord through the perforated hole, and then connect to the cord on the control panel.

Mount the control panel by securing it with three screws through the back of the panel into a nearby wall or cabinetry. Depending on your preferred placement, you may
secure the panel with screws into the top and/or bottom perforated holes.
NOTE: Every installation will be unique depending on the house and mounting preference. -
Using the two screws remove from step one, re-secure the face of the control panel to complete installation.
