How do I know the kickboard is properly attached to the main unit?
You should hear a click sound once the kickboard slot is aligned and fully inserted into the top rail of the main unit.

Installation Instructions
STEP 1
- Align the kickboard slot with the top rail of the main unit, and slide it until you hear a “click” sound to install it in place.
STEP 2
- Power on the main unit (see the Main Unit manual).
- Simultaneously press the left and right buttons on the kickboard to start the scooter. Release any button the scooter will stop.
- To remove the kickboard, press the orange button located between the main unit and the kickboard, and slide the control handle out in the opposite direction.
