Battery Installation And Use

  1. Remote Control Battery Installation
    • Unscrew counterclockwise to open the battery compartment cover and install 2X1 .5″M” batteries (batteries not included) into the battery compartment according to the given polarity,3-AGES-12CH-Remote-Control-Excavator-Toys-Boys-fig-4
  2. Excavator Battery Installation
    • Please note that power should be OFF before your installation. Firstly, remove the screws from the compartment to open it, then insert the connector of the 3.7V rechargeable battery into the battery compartment’s power connector, and finally, screw the battery compartment.
    • 3.7V rechargeable battery
    • WARNING: Take the battery out if you won’t use the excavator.
  3. About Charing
    • Insert the power connector of the battery into the USB cable, and then connect the USB charging cable to the adapter or the USB port on the computer.
    • When it is charging, its red light is on, when it finishes charging, its red light will be off. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to charge.3-AGES-12CH-Remote-Control-Excavator-Toys-Boys-fig-6
  • Please check whether the adapter’s input voltage should be the same as the current voltage.
  • Please note that the adapter’s input voltage should be the same as the battery needs.
  • When charging, it must be done under adult supervision:
  • Keep away from flammable materials when charging, and have an adult watch over them when charging.

  • After use, please wipe dirt on its surface with a dry cloth to keep the product away from damage and possibly have a long lifespan.

About Batteries

  • The excavator needs a 3. 7V rechargeable battery, the remote controller needs two 1.5V AA type non-rechargeable batteries (non-rechargeable batteries are not included).
  • Don’t charge a non-rechargeable battery.
  • Please note that charging should be under at least one adult’s supervision.
  • Please take the rechargeable battery out before charging.
  • Please follow the instructions as labeled on the battery compartment when you take out or put in a battery.
  • Don’t mix old batteries or different types of batteries.
  • Don’t mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)batteries;
  • Please take flat batteries out. If you won’t use the toy for a long time, please also take the batteries out.
  • Don’t connect 2 opposite poles to avoid short-circuit.
  • Please use the USB charging cable coming with the toy, you’d better not use other USB cables.
  • Please regularly check the USB charging cable to find if there exists damage including broken cable, plug, or any other parts. Don’t use it whenever you find something wrong.

Safety Guidelines

  • Small pieces included, please put the toy away from your kids to avoid choking hazards. Not for children under 3 years old.
  • Don’t play in dangerous places such as public roads, select a safe place for operating to avoid dangers.
  • Don’t use this product on elevated places such as tables or counters, and avoid falling or heavy falls.
  • Don’t expose it to strong sunlight and high-temperature places to avoid deformation and damage.
  • Don’t play it on rainy days and water/mud pits to avoid damage.
  • If it’s wetted by accident. Please wipe the water off it with a water absorption cloth.
  • Don’t make your fingers, hair, and clothes involved in wheels to avoid being injured.
  • No matter batteries in the excavator or the remote controller are low, the excavator will slow down as you can see, please replace them in time.
  • Don’t roughly move the excavator arm by hand to avoid being damaged.
  • Please take care of the remote controller antenna.
  • How to care: Wipe its surface with a dry cloth.

Problems & Solutions (Reference)

Problems Solutions
The excavator doesn’t work.
  1. Please check whether it’s power-off, if yes, turn it on.
  2. Please check whether you put batteries into it under the wrong installation of positive and negative poles.
  3. Please check whether the battery died or not. Replace or recharge it if it’s flat.

The remote controller doesn’t work.|

  • Please check whether the batteries died or not. Replace them if they are flat.
  • Please check whether the excavator is out of its control range.
  • Please check whether you use it under surroundings of strong electromagnetic interference. Take it to a new place without interference if yes.

Notes: If electromagnetic interference makes the excavator unable to work, please reopen it and then it will work.
