Content
- A 0.45L steamer with two sieve plates;
- A 1.5 L condenser with coil;
- A 2L pot;
- A silicon rubber tubing
Materials: Stainless Steel, Silicon Rubber
Recommended yield of 500mL hydrosol within 30 minutes.
Plant material size must be larger than 3mm.
Pressure can build up in pot during distillation. Use loose herb materials in
the steamer!
Steam Distillation Procedure

Add up to 2 Liter filtered water in to pot lower than the MAX level mark and turn the lid on.

Put a sieve plate to the bottom of the empty steamer and then f the steamer with herb up to the lower screw line.

Tap the steamer to pack the herb bed, put a sieve plate on top the herb, and close the lid.
Sieve plates are VERY IMPORTANT to keep the distiller working properly and safely! Don’t run the distiller without sieve plates in the steamer. -
Screw steamer onto pot lid.

Connect the steamer and condenser with the height of the condenser if needed.

Turn on the heat. Recommend gas stove or

Add ice cubes and water into the condenser, and replace it when the cooling water getting hot.

Collect distillate
Safety Tips
- When using fire, control the flame and don’t allow it go beyond the bottom edge of the pot. Prevent overheat and bake the tubing.
- Use an anti-slip pad at the bottom of the condenser to prevent movement during operation.
Recommendation:
Silicon tubing is recommended to be replaced once every two months. Visit
