customizable elements provided in the template
USING LAYERS AND PAGES IN TEMPLETT:
Layers: In the Templett editor, you can find the Layers panel on the right-
hand side.
It allows you to organize elements in a hierarchical order and control their
visibility, positioning, and locking.
Pages: Templett supports multiple pages within a design. You can navigate
between pages using the page tabs or arrows at the bottom of the editor. Each
page can have its own unique elements and layouts. MODIFYING COLORS AND BACKGROUNDS:

left side panel of the Templett editor. Then, select the template page where
you want to add the photo and single-click the image to place it on the page..

Method 1: Using the Corner Anchor
- Select the photo and locate the corner anchor.
- Drag the corner anchor inward or outward to resize the photo.
Method 2: Scale Tool
- Select the photo and find the scale tool in the top navigation.
- Use the slider or enter a percentage to resize the photo.
ADD YOUR IMAGE TO THE SHAPE/ PLACEHOLDER FRAME
- Hold your uploaded image over the shape and the sample photo for a few seconds.
- The shape will turn transparent green, allowing you to center your image appropriately.
- The sample image from the template will be replaced by your uploaded photo.
- You can move the image within the shape by clicking and holding while dragging it.
- If you need to move the shape, hold shift to select both the shape and image together. Then move them to the desired location.
IF THE CLIPPING MASK FUNCTION ISN’T WORKING:
If you accidentally deleted the sample image from the template, it may have
removed the clipping mask function. To fix this:
- Ensure that you’ve already added your image to the template.
- Go to the layers section on the right-hand side.
- Make sure your image is positioned above the shape in the layers section.
- Right-click the image in the layers section.
- Select “Create a Clipping Mask.”
- You’ll see an arrow pointing down next to the image, indicating it will clip to whatever is in the layer below it.
PRINTING MULTIPLE CARDS
SAVE PAPER” OPTION IN YOUR PDF DOWNLOAD
- Click the Download button located in the top right corner of the screen.
- From the download options, select “PDF.”
- Turn on the “Save Paper” feature. If you also want trim marks, you can enable that option at this point.
- Choose Paper size
- Click the “Download” button to generate the PDF with the selected options.
WHEN TO USE BLEED OPTION
Bleed is a 1/8” extension of your image or background color beyond the trim
area.
You should use the bleed option when your graphics or elements extend off the
edges of your design. This ensures a clean and professional print with no
white borders showing after trimming.
Professional print shops often prefer a PDF with added bleed, and they handle
sizing calculations. Check with the print company for their preferences before
sending your design.
USING AVERY SMALL CARD TEMPLATE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AVERY TEMPLATE 5302

-
After completing the tent cards, delete the AVERY TENT CARD template outline. To do this, go to the layers panel on the right tool bar and locate the layer named “DELETE WHEN DONE – Avery5302SmallTentCards”
-
Click the download button.
-
From the drop-down menu, select “Download PDF.”
