THE JOURNEY TO LISTENING
Unlike vision correction, which simply wears glasses, hearing correction is a
rather detailed process. Once you start your hearing correctly- tion journey,
you will experience countless “new sounds”, and your brain needs to adapt for
some time. In just a few weeks, you will be shocked by a sound that you have
never experienced before. If you have any questions, we will serve you
wholeheartedly.
THE FIRST WEEK
Some sounds may be too noisy when wearing a hearing aid for the first time,
such as the buzzing of the refrigerator, the wrinkling of the paper, or the
sound of your footsteps. This is normal, and your brain is relearning how to
prioritize these sounds that you don’t hear very often. Sometimes you may not
like the noise, but please don’t give up wearing it.
Patient
In the beginning, wear the hearing aid for 30 minutes a day, and then
gradually increase the wearing time until the whole day.
Exercise
Listen carefully to a song you are familiar with or watch a TV game show, and
guess the answer without looking at the subtitles.
THE SECOND WEEK
The more you wear the hearing aid, the more you can adapt to the sound
environment. You even can ask people around you not to speak loudly to you
anymore, because you can easily communicate with people.
THE THIRD WEEK
After a few weeks, you will feel more energetic because you no longer need to
spend a lot of energy to listen to what others say. The sound will become
clearer and clearer, and you will once again enjoy the sounds that surround
you in your
life, such as the melodious singing of birds in the backyard, the cheerful
laughter of children, and the rustling of leaves in the wind.
Participate
Have a meal in a restaurant with friends, watch a movie in a theatre, join a
family gathering, and no longer have to bother to speculate about missed
information.
