INTENDED USE

The TL110 travel fridge combines dual, integrated cooling and heating functions through the use of a semiconductor (Peltier cell), without the use of a compressor or cryogenics. Among the product’s advantages are its eco- friendliness, small size, negligible  weight, long service life and low energy consumption.

The TL110 travel fridge is not a complete replacement for a stationary domestic fridge.
It operates with a different cooling technique and under varying external conditions, and therefore the parameters, operation and performance of the two products are not comparable. The unit cools to a maximum of 15°C below ambient temperature. It heats to  a temperature of approximately 60°C.
For optimum cooling effect, it is recommended to insert unfrozen products. Cooling will take between 2 and 3 hours.
The appliance is not designed to reheat cold products, but to keep hot meals at a high temperature.
If the appliance is operated correctly and according to the instructions, the temperature of the products can be maintained for many hours.
The handle (1) protects the lid from opening. Opening the lid (5) is only possible when the handle is folded down.

OPERATION

After unpacking the device, make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. If in any doubt, refrain from using it until you contact a service center.
The unit can be powered by 12V or 220-240V, using the supplied power cables (7) and (8), without additional accessories.
NOTE
Do not connect two power cables at the same time – this may damage the appliance and invalidate the warranty.
Do not cover the ventilation openings when the unit is in operation

NOTE
The value set with the “D” buttons does not represent the set temperature. It only indicates the intensity level of the unit. The value of the temperature reached by the appliance depends, among other things, on the value of the outside temperature and the  quantity and temperature of the products placed inside.

220-240V AC POWER SUPPLY
− Place the unit on a flat and stable Surface.
− Connect one end of the power cord (8) to the “E” socket and the other end to the mains socket.
− Switch the unit on using the “B” button. The display “C” will show the temperature value inside the appliance.
− Use the “D” buttons to set the operating mode (positive value – heating, negative value – cooling) and the intensity level.
− Optionally, the ECO function can be activated using button “A”.
The ECO function only works with a 220-240V power supply. Current consumption is reduced in this case. The ECO function can be used, for example, when storing small quantities of food.

− is used to charge devices.

• Recommendations
− store foodstuffs in their own packaging to prevent the direct effects of frosting or condensation and the permeation of odours,
− in the case of vehicle power supply, do not operate the refrigerator from the power socket when the vehicle is stationary (engine switched off).
− in the case of car power supply, do not operate the fridge from the cigarette lighter socket for more than 3 hours when the car is not in use (the car engine is switched off) – prolonged operation leads to excessive battery discharge,
− a change of temperature in the insulated container (frequent opening or switching off) leads to natural phenomena in the form of frost or condensation visible on the walls of the container or the inside of the lid, as well as directly on the foodstuffs,
− the optimum temperature inside the insulated container, while maintaining certain constant external parameters, is usually reached between 2 and 4 hours after the appliance has been in operation.
− the appliance is not designed to cool warm or hot foodstuffs.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

− Before carrying out any maintenance or repair work, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply.
− Clean the housing, fittings and power cord with a soft, slightly dampened cloth with a little dishwashing detergent.
WARNING: Do not immerse the appliance in water.
− Do not use any harsh cleaning agents for cleaning cause damage to the surface of the housing.
