OVERVIEW

1. CTC (Capacitive Touch Control) / Power Button

POWER ON (FIRST TIME USER):

• Step 1 : To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Courtesy our IWP™™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) technology, the earbuds power on automatically, get connected and enter the connection mode,
  OR
  Long touch the CTC (Capacitive Touch Control) on either the right earbud or the left earbud for 3-4 seconds to manually power on the earbuds.|

• Step 2 : Once powered on, the earbuds enter the Connection Mode, Indicated by white LED flashes on the earbuds three times in a row.
  CONNECTION MODE

• Step 3 : Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device to start scanning. Step 4: Search for ‘Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds’ and pair effortlessly. Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to your device successfully via Bluetooth.
  Note :

  • Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes. If the pairing duration is missed, you need to reconnect the earbuds and follow all the steps mentioned above.
  • Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds remembers previously connected devices for your ease; once switched on, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to the previously connected devices when in the working range.

MONO (SINGLE EARBUD) MODE

• Step 1 : Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use Smart/Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

• Step 2 : The selected earbud automatically enters the connection mode indicated by three LED flashes.

• Step 3 : Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for ‘Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds’ to connect.
  Notes:

  • To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.
  • You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono (single earbud) mode.

QUICK GLANCE ON FUNCTIONALITIES

MULTI DEVICE CONNECTIVITY:

• Step 1 : Switch on the Bluetooth on your first phone/media device and search for ‘Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds’. After the selection is done, the earbuds are paired with your phone/media
• device.
• Step 2: Turn off the Bluetooth function of your first phone/media device. The earbuds are ready to be paired again.
• Step 3 : Now switch on the Bluetooth function on your second phone/media device. Scan and select ‘Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds’ to connect.
• Step 4 : Switch on the Bluetooth of the first phone/media device again. The earbud is reconnected to the first phone/media device.
• Step 5 : Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.

Note: When in multi-device connection mode, long press the CTC on both earbuds for 2 seconds at the same time to reject a phone call.

CHARGING THE EARBUDS

• Step 1 : Please place the earbuds back inside the charging case in the correct orientation and close the lid.
• Step 2 : During charging whenever the lid gets closed, the LED gets switched on to indicate that both left and right earbuds are getting charged, respectively.
• Step 3 : Once the earbuds get fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.

Note

• Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging.
• If the battery dips below 20%, the LED flashes once every 10 seconds three times in a row along with a low battery voice prompt.

CHARGING THE CASE

Step: To charge the case, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer/wall adapter/power bank, etc, While the case is getting charged, the LED flashes continuously. Once the case is fully charged, it is indicated by a solid LED.

VOICE ASSISTAN T:

• Step 1 : Long touch the CTC on the left earbud for 2-3 seconds to activate the smart voice assistant.
• Step 2 : The respective voice assistant screen pops up and you may speak your commands easily.

Tips: You may try out the following commands:

• What is the weather?
• Play a song
• Set a reminder

Note: If the voice assistant is not activated, then the functionality has to be first enabled from your media device settings.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

• Voice Assistant: Long press the left CTC for 2-3 seconds to activate the voice assistant
• Answer Call: Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call
• Hang Up / Reject Call: Double tap the CTC on either earbud to end/reject a call
• Play/Pause Music: Single tap either earbud’s CTC to play or pause music Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right earbud’s CTC to listen to the next song
• Previous Track: When playing music, double tap the left earbud’s CTC to return to the previous song

Note

• Volume can only be controlled via the media device.

BEAST™ MODE
Long touch the CTC on your right earbud for 2-3 seconds to switch to Low Latency mode, also known as BEAST”” Mode. Once switched on, it is notified via an audio prompt. To deactivate and return to boAt Signature Sound Mode, long touch the right earbud CTC again for 2-3 seconds. Made for the Gamers – By Gamers, BEAST’™ Mode reduces the latency significantly and improves the overall gaming experience.

ENX™ TECH
Our ENX * (Environmental Noise Cancellation) tech algorithm cancels out the background noise so that you can be heard crystal clear via voice calls. You don’t have to activate ENx™™ as the 2x mics are already equipped with the same and activated by default. Deliver your voice without interruptions no matter where you are – traffic, railway stations, airports, workspace; literally anywhere!

SMART POWER OFF

• Step 1 : After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears
• Step 2 : Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the lid The earbuds automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).

MANUAL POWER OFF

• Step 1 : Long touch both CTs for 3-4 seconds (one at a time) to manually power off the earbuds.
• Step 2 : Once the earbuds are turned off, the white LED flashes thrice. Place the earbuds inside the case and close the lid.

FACTORY RESET

Perform a factory reset if you face difficulties while operating your Airdopes.

NOTE: Before you begin to reset, clear “Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds” from the paired device history by forgetting device.

• Step 1 : Place both the earbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation and let the case lid remain open.
• Step 2 : Long press the Reset Button on the charging case for up to 10 seconds to do Factory reset, which gets indicated by the quickly flashing white LED on the charging case.
• Step 3 : Close the charging case lid,after a few seconds open the same for the earbuds to automatically restart. Congratulations! Your Airdopes 161 Pro-Buds has been reset!

• Please don’t use the product near water
• Please keep the product away from heat sources, as the heat may damage it
• Don’t jam the ports such as charger port, LED port. etc
• It is recommended to utilize the product below the maximum volume in order to protect hearing and extend the ear-buds’ service life

RECOMMENDATION: The earbuds may start at 100% volume level when first switched on. You can adjust the volume to your preferred level using the volume controls on your phone/media device.
