BNL-D10-Pressure-Relief-Valve-product

Specifications

  • Product Name: D10 Relief Valve
  • Type: Pressure Relief Valve
  • Size: 300 x 300mm mounted flange
  • Compatible Panel Thicknesses: 150mm, 200mm, 250mm

Product Usage Instructions:

Positioning

  1. Install the pressure relief valve away from evaporators.
  2. Avoid installing it in the direct airflow of evaporators.
  3. Ensure there is adequate airflow volume on both sides of the valve.
  4. Avoid obstructing the grille.

It is recommended to install the valve at right angles to the airflow and away from the evaporator. The optimal height for installation is 2/3 of the room’s height in an unobstructed location.

Installation

  1. Select the correct position for the valve/s.
  2. Cut a square hole in the freezer wall, ensuring clearance for the heating element.
  3. Remove the tapes securing the flaps during transit.
  4. Attach the valve body section (top indicated) to the wall, ensuring proper alignment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Heaters for the pressure relief valve/port and/or door frames must not be activated before the room reaches its designed operating temperature. Initial testing should be excluded until then.

FAQ

  • Q: Can the D10 Relief Valve be installed in any orientation?
A: It is recommended to install the valve at right angles to the airflow for optimal performance.

  • Q: What should I do if I encounter obstruction during installation?
A: Ensure that there is adequate clearance for the valve and heating element by adjusting the position or cutting a larger hole if necessary.

D10 Pressure Relief Valve

300 x 300mm mounted flange and can fit 150, 200 and 250mm panel thicknesses

  • Operating range to -25°C
  • Valve only operates on a vertical plane
  • NOT suitable for ceiling installation

Positioning
To ensure correct operation of pressure relief valve:

  1. Install as far as possible away from evaporators.
  2. Do not install in the direct airflow of evaporator.
  3. Must only be installed where there is adequate airflow volume available to both sides of the valve.
  4. Do not obstruct grille.

It is recommended to install valves at right angles to the airflow and as far away as possible from evaporator.
The optimal height for installation is equal to 2/3 of the room in an unobstructed location.

Installation

  1. Choose the correct position for the valve/s.
  2. Cut a square hole in the freezer wall. The cutout must allow for clearance of the heating element.
  3. Remove the tapes that have held the flaps secure during transit.
  4. Fit the valve body section (top indicated) to the wall, ensuring the flange face is sealed around the cutout with silicon beading and fixed through the 2 holes in the centre line of the flange face with the supplied screws. Ensure the body is level in both directions.
  5. Electrical connection to be carried out by a registered electrician. Connect the 240 volt supply and test the heater coil. (0.230 amps initial start)
  6. Depending on the panel thickness, trim the rear flange section to length and fix to the wall through the 2 holes in the centre of the flange. Again, ensuring the flange face is sealed around the cutout with silicon and is level.
  7. Remove the valve flap fixing screw, before fitting grille.
  8. Fit the protection grille through the 4 mounting holes with the supplied screws.
