Product Introduction

This product is a Bluetooth remote control that supports GoPro action cameras and smartphones.
With the remote control, you can capture photos and record videos on the camera or smartphone. It features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery for repeated charging and use.

Function Introduction

  1. Remote Control Compatibility: GoPro action cameras, smartphones (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS systems).

  2. The remote control and the action camera utilize Bluetooth connection(Bluetooth name ‘PGY-MP-G). After the initial connection, as long as you don’t change the connected device, they will automatically reconnect upon subsequent power-ups. When the remote control is connected to a phone, manual Bluetooth reconnection is required if the power is turned off.

  3. The mode switch button allows GoPro camera to switch mode among capturing photos, recording videos, and more. However, this mode switch function is not supported in phones.

  4. Function Buttons
    •Power Button: Long press for 3 seconds to power on/off. It automatically powers off after 3 minutes if there is no Bluetooth connection.
    ··Photo/Video Button: After connecting with the GoPro camera or smartphone via Bluetooth, a light touch on this button will activate photo or video capture , based on what mode you choose.
    ·To connect the remote control with your phone, after Bluetooth powers on, please simultaneously pressing the power button and mode switch button until the mode switch indicator light turns green.
    Once connected to the phone, lightly press the shutter button to enable photo capture and video recording.

  5. In action camera mode, the mode switch indicator light is blue; the connected state is indicated by a solid light; while in disconnected or searching state, the blue light continues to blink. 2. In phone mode, the mode switch indicator light is green; the connected state is indicated by a solid light; and in disconnected or searching state, the green light continues to blink.

  6. Remote Control Battery Status: If the battery indicator light is off, it indicates a battery level between 25% and 100%. If the battery indicator light is red, it indicates a battery level between 0% and 25%. In the powered-on state, with the Bluetooth light off, it indicates a battery level of 0%.

  7. Charging Indicator Light: During the charging process, the red light is constantly on. When charging is complete, the green light is constantly on.

Blue: Action camera mode – In this mode, a single click on the shutter button can control the action camera to take photos or record videos
Green: Phone mode – In this mode, a single click on the shutter button can control the phone to take photos

Power Indicator Light: During charging, the red light is constantly on. After full charge, the green light is constantly on. In low battery (0-25%), the red light continues to blink.
Mode Switch Button: Controls the switch of shooting modes for the action camera. Cannot switch modes using this button with a phone.
Camera/Phone Device Switch: Press and hold the mode switch button and power button simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between camera mode and phone mode.
Pairing: 1. In action camera mode, the remote control automatically enters pairing mode with fast blinking blue light. Once paired with the camera, the blue light stays on. 2. In phone mode, the remote control automatically enters pairing mode with fast blinking green light. Once paired with the phone, the green light stays on.
