Exclusions :

All unlisted parts in the table above are covered by the statutory 2-year warranty (valid extended warranty).
By default, the warranty conditions are those without a warranty extension. An extended warranty may be suscribed if the installation meets certain requirements (see extended warranty conditions).
The warranty periods and conditions set out above apply only to defects that may arise during normal use and maintenance, provided that the installation has been carried out in accordance with good practice.

The following are excluded from the warranty conditions:

1. Damage caused by fire, accident, impact, flood, short-circuit, lightning, sabotage, strike, power surge, or any other cause beyond our control or the control of a third party. Infiltration of water or moisture into the box.

2. Dysfunctions resulting from malice, negligence or unnormal use of the equipment (failure to comply with the user manual).

3. Use of inappropriate accessories by the service provider.

4. Motor:
   Unmatching serial number between the platinum deck and the motor. If an after- sales service has already been carried out, only the defective part will be returned.

5. The crystal part of the awning is excluded from any warranty (see aspects of the user manual).
   The guarantee does not cover some trends such as, for example: certain folds, the spider web effect, wave effects, scratches on the roller support. These are also mentioned in the user manual.

6. It is mentioned that product compliance is checked according to following standards :
   Aluminium : current ISO international standards for aluminium machining and extrusion companies.
   Coating : Qualicoat standards : please keep in mind that color differences might happen and are not BIOSSUN’s responsabilities. (Qualicoat guidelines – https://qualicoat.fr/documentations/)

7. glass crackings due to “glass cancer”.

8. Breakages or dysfunctions caused by use of the product in adverse weather conditions or if it has been overloaded by foreign weight (e.g. snow) are not covered by the warranty.

9.  The warranty does not cover damage resulting from failure of the mounting wall.

10. The guarantee does not cover damage caused to people, pets or property, or by the use or application of abrasive products.

11.  if the defect results from wear and tear (including strong wind and rough weather conditions); in the event of natural deterioration of the paintwork.

12. in case of incorrect installation by the Seller and/or third parties.

13.  if water from vertical walls, other roofs, gutters leaks onto the product.

14. in case of damage over transit/haulage.

15.  if a valid invoice showing the delivery date and the name of the Seller/Installer is not used as evidence to your dealer.

16. if the electrical connections and work on the electrical installation are not carried out exclusively by skilled parties authorised to issue the necessary certificates of conformity. Any replacement, intervention, modification or alteration carried out by unauthorised parties by the Seller will void warranty.

If your installation is still covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, you must first contact your dealer (installer, distributor). As a manufacturer, Bisson SAS cannot replace the legal obligations of your dealer/installer.
