Instructions For Repairing Appliances Containing R32
General Instructions
- Checks to the area Prior to beginning work on systems containing flammable refrigerants, safety checks are necessary to ensure that the risk of ignition is minimized. For repair to the refrigerating system, the following precautions shall be complied with prior to con-ducting work on the system.
- Ventilated area Ensure that the area is in the open or that it is adequately ventilated before breaking into the system or conducting any hot work. A degree of ventilation shall continue during the period that the work is carried out. The ventilation should safely disperse any released refrigerant and preferably expel it externally into the atmosphere.
Detection of flammable refrigerants
- Under no circumstances shall potential sources of ignition be used in the searching for or detection of refrigerant leaks. A halide torch (or any other detector using a naked flame) shall not be used.
- The following leak detection methods are deemed acceptable for all refrigerant systems.
- Electronic leak detectors may be used to detect refrigerant leaks but, in the case of FLAMMABLE REFRIGERANTS, the sensitivity may not be adequate, or may need re-calibration. (Detection equipment shall be calibrated in a refrigerant-free area.) Ensure that the detector is not a potential source of ignition and is suitable for the refrigerant used. Leak detection equipment shall be set at a percentage of the LFL of the refrigerant and shall be calibrated to the refrigerant employed, and the appropriate percentage of gas (25 % maximum) is confirmed.
- Leak detection fluids are also suitable for use with most refrigerants but the use of detergents containing chlorine shall be avoided as the chlorine may react with the refrigerant and corrode the copper pipe-work.
Note Examples of leak detection fluids are
-bubble method,
– fluorescent method agents.
If a leak is suspected, all naked flames shall be removed/extinguished. If a leakage of refrigerant is found which requires brazing, all of the refrigerant shall be recovered from the system, or isolated (by means of shut off valves) in a part of the system remote from the leak.
Safety Information
- Install the dehumidifier on flat surface to minimize vibration and or noise.
- Inspect the power cord before use. Never operate the dehumidifier when the power cord or plug is damaged.
- Insert the three-prong plug on the power cord into a matching electrically grounded outlet (115V/ 60 Hz, 16 A at least).

-
Water tank drainage operation instructions Note:
Do not remove the float ball in the water tank, otherwise the water sensor will not be able to sense the water level normally, resulting in overflow of water.
Clean the water tank only with cold or warm water. Do not use detergent, steel wool, chemically treated dust cloth, gasoline, benzene, thinner or other solvents to prevent water leakage caused by damage to the water tank. -
Operating instructions for water pipe direct discharge Machine product drawing for reference only, subject to the actual.
Image One: Error Connection example
-
The water pipe upward arch position D above position B, the inside of the water pipe is prone to air and accumulation, which leads to a smooth discharge through the Pipe.
Image Two: Error Connection example -
The water pipe and the water container contact point D is lower than the continuous drain A, but higher than the water pipe at the lowest point B, the inside of the pipe prone to air and water, leading to a smooth discharge of waters through the Pipe. Do not insert pipe outlet C into water.
Image Three: Correct Connection example -
Water through the continuous drainage port A, from high to low through the B and outlet C smooth discharge, can be used to water containers or discharged into the sewer (outlet C is below the continuous drainage port of 0.33ft above, do not recommend the addition of the original drainage pipe).
-
Pipes can be bent and not folded on the ground, but cannot be partially arched.
Tips: The machine has no water full prompting function. When the container is used to receive drainage, attention should be paid to water level.
The product picture of the machine is for reference only, and please refer to the actual product.
Repair and Maintenance
Note:
– Unplug the power cord before servicing and cleaning the product.
– Please use a soft damp cloth to clean the body of the dehumidifier.
-Do not use detergent, scrubbing steel wire, chemically treated dust cloth, gasoline, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean and wipe the machine.
Clean the filter
-The filter is used to block most airborne dirt, such as dust, smoke, animal dander, mold spores and pollen; Regular inspections and cleaning at least once a month is recommended. When cleaning, you can use a vacuum cleaner or air gun to remove the dirt on the filter screen. If you need to clean it, you can use warm water and mild detergent to rinse it and dry it thoroughly. Do not expose the filter screen to direct sunlight or dry it to prevent deformation of the filter screen.
