INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALLING THE DOORBELL BATTERIES

    • Push the battery cover tab toward the battery cover (1) and pull to remove it.
    • Install 3 “AA” alkaline batteries (not included) into the doorbell (A).
    • Make sure batteries are installed according to the diagram inside the chime.
    • Replace the battery cover on the DOORBELL (A).
  2. INSTALLING THE BATTERY TO PUSH-BUTTON

    • Rotate the battery cover and remove it (B).

  3. TESTING THE PUSH-BUTTON AND DOORBELL

    • Temporarily position the push-button where it will be mounted.
    • Press the push-button to verify the doorbell and push-button work properly.
    • If the doorbell does not sound, move the doorbell closer to the push-button and test again.
      NOTE: Do not permanently mount the push button until the push button and doorbell are working properly.
      NOTE: The push-button and doorbell come synced from the factory. The range of the wireless doorbell can vary with location, temperature, and battery condition. Test the push-button to ensure the doorbell and push-button are working properly.Health-Zenith-18000150-Wireless-Doorbell-Kit-User-

  4. MOUNTING THE DOORBELL

    • Use two of the screws to mount the doorbell.
    • Determine the mounting location.
    • Drill one 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) pilot hole and insert a wall anchor.
    • Insert the screw into the wall anchor leaving about 1/8 in. (3.2 mm) of the screw threads exposed.

Mounting Instructions

Mounting the Push-Button

  • Option 1: Use screws to mount the push button.

Operation
  1. ADJUSTING THE DOORBELL VOLUME
    The doorbell has an adjustable volume control located on the side. Press and release the volume adjust button to adjust the volume one step at a time.

  2. SELECTING A TUNE
    The doorbell allows you to customize your doorbell sound with front door tunes. The doorbell has ten pre-loaded selectable “Front Door” tunes.

    • Press and release the “Sync/Music” button until the desired tune is heard.

NOTE: Each push-button can be assigned its own unique tune.
NOTE: To listen to the selected tune, press and release the “Sync/Music” button.
NOTE: Doorbell is designed to work with up to 10 wireless push-buttons (sold separately).

SELECTING THE DOORBELL LIGHT

  • Press and release the “Light” button to convert the light color of what you like.
  • When press the push button the doorbell will ring and flash the light for 4 times.
PUSH-BUTTON CODE CONVERSION AND LOW BATTERY NOTIFICATION

Code conversion

  • Push-button and doorbell default code pattern: 100M & Front door
  • There is no need to convert the code for the first time.
  • Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, the indicator light of the push-button will flash quickly once, it indicates the push-button has been converted to the 12E code.
  • Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, and the indicator light of the push-button will flash 3 times. It indicates the push-button has been converted to 100M code.

NOTE: Only if the code of the push-button and doorbell is consistent, the push-button and doorbell will be working properly.

Front door and rear door code conversion

  • Press the silicone button in the back for 1 second and release, The push-button will be converted between the front door and rear door. The indicator light displays in the following ways:
  • 12E Front door: The indicator light will flash quickly once.
  • 12E Rear door: The indicator light stays on for about 3 seconds.
  • 100M Front door: The indicator light will flash slowly for about 3 seconds
  • 100M Rear door: The indicator light will flash quickly for about 3 seconds.

NOTE: The Push-button default pattern is the front door. While the desired tune is playing, press the push button to lock in the selected tune. If the push-button is in the rear door pattern, the doorbell will only ring as “Ding”.

Low battery notification

  • After pressing the push-button, the doorbell prompts “Ding Dong” 3 times and the indicator light of the doorbell will remain on for 10 seconds, this indicates that the push-button battery is low, you need to replace it with new battery for the push-button.

Adjusting the Doorbell Volume
The doorbell has an adjustable volume control located on the side. Press and release the volume adjust button to adjust the volume one step at a time.

DOORBELL CODE CONVERSION AND LOW BATTERY NOTIFICATION

Code conversion

  • Push-button and doorbell default Code pattern:
    • 100M & Front door
  • There is no need to convert the code for the first time.
  • After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the doorbell prompts “Ding”, meaning the doorbell code is 100M. Within one minute, press and hold the “volume button” and “sync button” of the doorbell at the same time for about 10 seconds, and then you will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep”, then release the buttons, the doorbell will prompt “Ding Dong” which indicates that the doorbell has been converted to the 12E code. In this pattern, we should use the 12E code push button to sync and pairing.
  • After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the doorbell prompts “Ding Dong”, meaning the doorbell code is 12E. Within one minute, press and hold the “volume button” and “sync button” of the doorbell at the same time for about 10 seconds, and then you will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep”, after releasing the buttons, the doorbell will prompt “Ding” which indicates that the doorbell has been converted to the 100M code. In this pattern, we should use a 100M code push-button to sync and pair.

NOTE: Only if the code of the push-button and doorbell is consistent, the push-button and doorbell work properly. You will need to re-sync and pair after code conversion.

Low battery notification

  • After pressing the push-button, the doorbell prompts “Ding dong” 5 times and the indicator light of the doorbell will flash quickly for 10 seconds, indicating that the doorbell battery is low, you will need to replace them with new batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM #1

  • The doorbell does not sound.

POSSIBLE CAUSE:

  • The batteries are not installed correctly.
  • The batteries are dead.
  • The push-button and doorbell are not synced.
  • The code of the push button doesn’t match the code of the doorbell. SOLUTION:
  • Make sure the batteries are installed according to the diagram inside the push-button and doorbell.
  • Check the charge of the push-button and doorbell batteries and replace them if necessary.
  • Sync the push-button and doorbell:
  • Press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell until the doorbell prompts a “Beep-Beep”.
  • Press the push button within 10 seconds. The doorbell will prompt a “Beep-Beep” tone to indicate the push-button is synced.
  • Press the push button to ensure operation.
  • Ensure the code of the push button matches the code of the doorbell. To ensure operation, they will both need to be in 100M code or 12E code. Refer to Operation steps 4 & 5 for more information.

PROBLEM #2

  • The batteries seem okay, but the doorbell does not work after installation.

POSSIBLE CAUSE:

  • The doorbell or push-button is mounted on metal or near metal studs.
  • The doorbell is mounted near a concrete floor or wall.
  • The doorbell and push-button are installed too far apart.

SOLUTION:

  • Metal reduces transmission range. Use 1/4 in. to 1/2 in. (6 to 13 mm) wood shims to move the doorbell or push-button away from the metal surface.
  • Concrete may reduce range. Move the doorbell away from the concrete surface.
  • Locate the doorbell closer to the push button.

PROBLEM #3

  • The doorbell sounds when not intended (false triggers). POSSIBLE CAUSE:
  • The doorbell is receiving interference from another wireless device.

SOLUTION 1:

  • Convert the push-button and chime to 100M code (see steps 3 & 4 of the operation).

SOLUTION 2:

  • If the push-button and doorbell are in the 12E code, follow the below instructions:
  • Remove the push-button battery. Wait 30 seconds.
  • Press and hold the push-button for 10 to 15 seconds within 60 seconds after installing the battery into the push-button.
  • Press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell until the doorbell prompts a “Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep”.
  • To re-sync the push-button and doorbell, press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell until the doorbell prompts a “Beep-Beep”.
  • Press the push button within 10 seconds. The doorbell will prompt a “Beep-Beep” tone to indicate the push-button is synced.
  • Press the push button to ensure operation

PROBLEM #4

  • The new push-button and chime do not work with existing push-buttons and chimes.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • The new push-button and chime are not using the same codes as existing push-buttons and chimes.

SOLUTION:

  • Ensure the code of the push button matches the code of the doorbell. To ensure operation, they will both need to be in 100M code or 12E code. Refer to Operation steps 3 & 4 for more information.
