Important Safety Instructions

To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following instructions must be followed when using the dehu­midifier. Incorrect operation due to ignoring of instruction may cause harm or damage.

  1. Do not open the outer covering when the machine is running.
  2. Do not place the dehumidifier near a heater. Do not use the dehumidifier near flammable gas or combustibles. Do not place the dehumidifier in the area, such as dust, exposure to the sun, incline.
  3. Make sure to turn off the machine and unplug it before cleaning and maintenance.
  4. The recommended ambient operating environment: humidi­ty>45%, temperature> 59°F /1 S0C.
  5. Install the dehumidifier properly on a floor, table or shelf that is level and strong enough to support it when the water bucket is full.
  6. Close all doors, windows and other outside opening to the room when the machine is running.
  7. Be sure that there are no obstacles within 1 OCM of the machine when in use
  8. Be sure to replace the bucket properly after emptying to prevent water from dripping on the floor.
  9. The appliance is not intended to be used by people (including children) who have physical, sensory or metal deficiencies or lack use experience and knowledge. Unless they use the unit under the supervisions and instructions by people who are responsible for their safety.
  10. Please keep the machine unplugged when cleaning, removing and not in use for a period of time.
  11. The power cord must not be scratched, damaged, excessively bent, pulled, twisted, knotted or pressed against heavy objects or processed; Otherwise, it may cause electric shock, short circuit or fire.
  12. Do not use it if the power cord is broken or damaged.
  13. Do not take apart or repair the dehumidifier by yourself.
  14. Please keep away from the reach of children. Children is not allowed to use.
  15. Please ask help for manufacture and professionals if the power cord is damaged.
  16. Do not immerse the appliance into water which will damage it.
  17. The dehumidifier shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
  18. Make sure that the cord is not compressed.
  19. Disconnect the power if strange sounds, odors, or smoke come from the dehumidifier.
  20. Do not operate the dehumidifier with wet hands.
  21. Do not clean the dehumidifier with water. If water enters the machine, turn off the dehumidifier immediately
  22. Hold the plug by the head when taking it out.
  23. Do not climb on or sit on the dehumidifier.
  24. Never insert your finger or other foreign objects into grills or openings. Take special care to warn children of these danger.

Operation

The recommended operating environment: Room temperature 15> 0ºC/590F. Humidity 450/0

General Operation

  1. PIug the power cord into a properly 110v volt AC outlet.

  2. Install the water bucket into the unit properly.
    -The dehumidifier plug is connected firmly into the wall outlet, then turn on it. The indicator illuminate blue and the air outlet grille comes out the wind.
    – NOTE: If the indicator illuminates red which shows that the bucket is not installed properly. Please re-install the bucket until the blue light is on.

  3. Turn on the power button. Then the dehumidifier starts to work.

Empty the Water Bucket

The collected water has reached its present level and the unit will auto-shut off with red indicator on.

  1. TO remove the bucket to empty the collected water, gently remove it from the dehumidifier by gripping the handhold and pulling forward.
  2. Pour the water out from the hole.
  3. Put the bucket into the dehumidifier.
    -Wipe dry the dehumidifier and the bucket. Repeat the steps mentioned above to restart moisture removal.

Continuous Drainage

  1. Take out the water bucket.
  2. Insert the water pipe measuring 7mm in diameter.
  3. Re-install the bucket properly.

Care & Cleaning

Clean the Reservoir

  • Every few weeks, clean the reservoir to prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria.
  • Partially fill the reservoir with clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the reservoir, empty and rinse.

NOTE: Do not clean the reservoir in a dishwasher.

Clean the Vent and Case

  • Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives.
  • Do not splash water directly onto the main dehumidifier. Doing so may cause an electric shock or the insulation to deteriorate, or cause the dehumidifier to rust.
  • The air intake and outlet vents get solid easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.

When Not Using Dehumidifier for Long Periods of Time

  • Clean the main dehumidifier, water reservoir. Ensure the whole dehumidifier is clean and dry.
  • Wrap the cord and bundle it with the band.
  • Cover the dehumidifier with a plastic bag.
  • Store the dehumidifier upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

WARM TIPS

  • When you run the dehumidifier in winter, please make sure that the room has enough warmth, which can help the dehumidifier work better, avoid frosting affecting the dehumidification effect.
  • The small dehumidification performance is affected by many factors, such as the environmental humidity,temperature, space size, airflow speed(windows or door closed or not), and so on.
  • Keep the rear air inlets and top air outlets free from being blocked when the dehumidifier is working.Please ensure that there are no obstacles around the dehumidifier air inlet. Otherwise, the damp air can’t be sucked in, and you will not see the dehumidifier’s magic.
  • Operating temperature: The optimum room temperature is 590F-1040F(15C-400C )and Relative humidity: 80%RH. If the air temperature is 59T (15 C), the effect of dehumidification is not obvious, and it will not work K410F(50C).
  • Operating humidity: The optimum room humidity is 40%RH-80%RH, temperature 68 OF (20 C), relative humidity 60%RH. If the humidity is K60%RH, the dehumidifier usually does not remove 100z (300ml) a day. If you feel that the product does not meet your expectations after receiving it, please don’t worry. Q1: I tried to start using the dehumidifier and when I turn on the machine it is blinking red as if the tank is full and there is no water in it?
Al: Please follow these steps and try it again.
1. Empty the water 2. Cut off the power and pull the water tank out 3. Wait for 3-5 minutes and clean the metal of the water tank with a paper napkin. 4. Assemble the water tank and turn it on again.
