Bifold Door Repair Kit 2 Pack Bi fold Sliding Closet Doors
Component List and Size
Application
- Fits 3/8″ diameter holes.
- Used on doors 1 to 1-3/8 in. thick and up to 50 lbs.
- This kit is for a typical bi-folding door.
Note : In a typical bi-folding door opening, a pair of
bi-folding doors is hung on the left side of the opening and a second pair of
bi-folding doors is hung on the right side of the opening (a total of 4 narrow
doors hung in left and right pairs).
How to Install?
Tool Required
Hammer, Band tape, Drill and Pencil
Step 1
Option 1 : If the door is fixed on the left, the top pivot is inserted into
the pre-drilled hole on the top left of the door panel.
Note : We offer metal and plastic top pivots, metal pivots are recommended. If the pre-drilled holes are a bit small, you can choose the plastic top pivot.
Step2 Insert the guide wheel into the other hole pre-drilled at the top of the door. Option 2: If the door is fixed to the right, the top pivot is inserted into the pre-drilled hole on the right side of the top of the door panel.
Step3
Insert the bottom pivot into the pre-drilled hole on the same side of the
bottom edge as the top pivot.

Step4
Measure the position of the bottom bracket so that it corresponds with the
drilled hole where the top pivot be installed.
Steps5
Screw the bottom bracket to the corresponding jamb and floor.
Step6
Adjust the height of the door by lifting the door panel and turning the
threaded rod of the bottom pivot. Insert the bottom and top pivots into the
bottom and top brackets respectively.
Step7
Adjust the top bracket inside the track into place and secure it with the
screws on the top bracket.
Steps8
Press the guide wheel to position it under the track and release, making sure
the guide wheel goes into the track.
Step9
Gently pull the door to fully close it, check that the guide wheels and pivots
of the door do not disengage during operation and that the edges rub against
the door frame. If necessary, adjust it to the desired position by loosening
the screws on the top bracket.
