Installation of the Stand

  1. Unscrew the clamp so that the opening is large enough to fit over the edge of your table,
  2. Push the clamp all the way onto the table edge for maximum security.
  3. Fasten the clamp to the desk by anticlockwise turning the handle so that itis tight against the underside of the table.
  4. Insert the arm into the hole at the top of the clamp, and then twist the knob to tighten it once the arm direction is located. You are now ready to attach your microphone.

Note

  1. Make sure that the clamp sits flush on both the top and bottom surfaces of the table.
  2. Test that you have mounted the clamp securely by seeing if you can pull it off the edge of the table. Tables with round edges provide less security than those with square edges. If the clamp comes off easily, try reattaching it tighter and repeat the test.
  3. Please loosen the Knob of the Desk Mounting Clamp to rotate the stand, Do not rotate it by force, otherwise the screw threads may be damaged.
  4. Always make sure that your mic stand is secure and in a safe location to avoid damage to your equipment.

Recommended installation:

Unstable installation:

Note
Under the influence of gravity, the Pop Filter has a tendency to rotate, which makes it easy to loose between the gooseneck and the base.

Troubleshooting

It seems like that some of Blue Yeti mics have had manufacturing issues. The mounting hole on the Yeti Mic is sometimes just a tiny fraction bigger than the 5/8″ industry standard.
Suggestion
If your Blue Yeti microphone happens to have this issue, please use the Thread Tape to wrap around the mounting screw adapter, to effectively increase the thickness of the mounting screw, while still maintaining the actual screw thread, so you can connect your Yeti.

  • The picture of thread tape is only for reference, please make the object as the standard.

Adjustment of Weight Capacity

Changing the position of the screw on the arm stand can adjust the spring tension, The screw is set by default at the first level positioning hole, To increase the bearing load of the arm stand, please remove the springs first, Then loosen the screw with a cross screwdriver, pull and move it to the second level positioning hole. Tighten it and install the springs back. This can enhance the stretch strength of the external spring for bearing more weight.

Tips:
Please pull the stand apart to the maximum angle, at which time the length of the spring is minimum, for easily removing and installing the springs back.
