Product Information

The product is called FAT GRIPZ, which is designed to be used as an arm builder during weightlifting exercises. It is important to take extra care when using weights with or without FAT GRIPZ above any part of the body, as the risk of serious injury is higher. It is recommended to use an appropriate power rack and competent spotters for all exercises.

People with pre-existing injuries, medical conditions, or experiencing pain or discomfort should not use FAT GRIPZ. If any discomfort or pain is experienced during exercise without a pre-existing injury or medical condition, it is advised to stop exercising immediately. When starting to use FAT GRIPZ, it is recommended to reduce the amount of weight until adjusting to them.

A thumbs-around grip should always be used and a ‘false grip’ should never be employed. The product should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

FAT GRIPZ can be used on most commercially available gym bars and handles. It is important to ensure a snug fit without any gaps or slipping in either direction before conducting any training exercises. Regular inspection of the product is necessary, and if any degradation or damage is noticed, the use of the product must cease immediately and the manufacturer must be notified.

To clean FAT GRIPZ, ordinary soap, and warm water should be used. It is important to rinse and dry them thoroughly before use. Cleaning products or methods that may harm rubber or similar compounds should not be used. Users with allergies to rubber or similar compounds should not use FAT GRIPZ.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Always use an appropriate power rack and competent spotters for all exercises.
  2. If you have a pre-existing injury, medical condition, orexperience pain or discomfort, do not use FAT GRIPZ.
  3. If you experience any discomfort or pain during exercise without a pre-existing injury or medical condition, stop exercising immediately.
  4. When starting to use FAT GRIPZ, reduce the amount of weight until you have adjusted to them.
  5. Always use a thumbs-around grip and never employ a ‘false grip’.
  6. For pressing movements (e.g. bench press), ensure that the slit on the FAT GRIPZ is facing away from the palm of your hand.
  7. For pulling movements (e.g. pull-ups, rows, deadlifts), ensure that the slit on the FAT GRIPZ is facing toward the palm of your hand.
  8. Ensure that FAT GRIPZ fit snugly to the bar/handle without any gaps or slipping in either direction before conducting any training exercises.
  9. Regularly inspect FAT GRIPZ and cease using them immediately if any degradation or damage is noticed. Notify the manufacturer and return the product.
  10. Clean FAT GRIPZ with ordinary soap and warm water before and after use. Do not use cleaning products or methods that may harm rubber or similar compounds.
  11. Do not use FAT GRIPZ if you have allergies to rubber or similar compounds.

FAT GRIPZ are not for use by anyone under 16 years of age. You must obtain appropriate, professional medical clearance before exercising using FAT GRIPZ. You must only exercise using FAT GRIPZ under appropriate, professional supervision and in accordance with these Instructions for Use. There is a risk of injury when doing exercise so everyone using FAT GRIPZ does so at their own risk.

Take extra care when holding weights (with or without FAT GRIPZ) above any part of your body (e.g. bench presses, overhead presses) as the risk of serious injury during such exercises is higher. An appropriate, correctly set- up “power rack” and competent “spotters” should be used for all exercises.

Anyone with a pre-existing injury or medical condition or pain or discomfort must not use FAT GRIPZ and you must stop exercising immediately if you don’t have a pre-existing injury or medical condition but experience any discomfort or pain. It is highly recommended that you reduce the amount of weight you usually use when first using Fat Gripz until you have adjusted to it.

WARNING: Never under any circumstances should you employ a ‘false grip’ always use a thumbs-around grip (see Figure 1)

For all pressing movements (in other words, exercises where you feel the weight of the bar or dumbbell pressing against the palm of your hand) for example, in bench press, the slit on the FAT GRIPZ should be facing away from the palm of the hand (see Figure 2)
For all pulling movements (in other words, exercises where you feel the weight of the bar or dumbbell pulling away from you) for example, pull-ups, rows, and deadlifts, the slit on the FAT GRIPZ should be facing toward the palm of your hand (see Figure 3)

  • You must inspect the FAT GRIPZ regularly and in the unlikely event that any degradation of, or damage to, the FAT GRIPZ product has occurred, use of the product must cease immediately and we must be notified immediately and the product must be returned to us.
  • To clean FAT GRIPZ use ordinary soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry thoroughly before use.
