Product Usage Instructions

- Press the Start button.
- Once the set temperature is reached, place the food inside the oven and close the door.
- (Optional) Enter the desired cook time.

Note: For more detailed instructions on specific functions, please refer to the online Control Guide.
Start/Add 1 Minute Function
The Start/Add 1 Minute keypad on the microwave oven controls two separate
functions: Start and Add 1 minute.
Start
The Start/Add 1 Minute keypad initiates any upper or single oven cooking
function once enough data has been entered and the door is closed. If not
touched within 5 minutes after touching another keypad, the programmed
function will be canceled. If cooking is interrupted by opening the door,
touching Start/Add 1 Minute after closing the door will resume the preset
cycle.
Add 1 Minute
When the microwave oven is off, touching Start/Add 1 Minute will start 1
minute of cook time at 100% power. To use this feature, ensure that the
display shows the time of day and the lower oven is off (for combination
models only). When the microwave oven is operating, touching Start/Add 1
Minute will add 1 minute of cook time to the current cycle. Multiple minutes
can be added by repeatedly touching Start/Add 1 Minute.
Using Aluminum Foil and Metal
When using aluminum foil or metal in the microwave oven, it is important to
follow these guidelines to prevent damage
- Always use oven mitts or pot holders when removing dishes from the microwave oven.
- Do not allow aluminum foil or metal to touch the inside cavity walls, ceiling, or floor of the microwave oven.
- Always use the turntable when placing food inside the oven.
- Avoid contact with another metal object during microwave cooking.
Approved items for use in the microwave oven include racks and bakeware supplied with the appliance (on some models), aluminum foil for shielding, and approved meat thermometers. However, metal cookware and bakeware, gold, silver, pewter, non-approved meat thermometers, skewers, twist ties, foil liners such as sandwich wrappers, staples, and objects with gold or silver trim or a metallic glaze should not be used in the microwave oven.
Microwave Oven Cancel Function
The Cancel keypad can be used to stop any microwave oven or lower oven
function (except for the Clock, Timer, and Control Lock). When the door is
opened, the element(s) and fan will turn off, but the oven light will remain
on. To resume the preset cycle, simply close the door and touch the Start
button.
