parts

  1. Turn off the power to spa at the main circuit breaker.

  2. Mount the Ozonator in a suitable location inside the spa cabinet or where the old one was removed, using screws or cable ties. DO NOT mount to equipment floor, outside the spa, or in a wet area. Conform to all electrical and building codes as noted above.

  3. Cut a short section of Ozone Tubing and attach to the Ozonator’s output barb ①, secured with a Hose Clamp.

  4. Attach the other end of the tubing short section to the FLAT SIDE of the one-way Check Valve ② so that gas is permitted to flow away from the Ozonator, indicated by arrows, and secure with a Hose Clamp. You can confirm the flow direction of the Check Valve by blowing into it. If the Check Valve is installed backwards, no ozone gas will flow, and water may back into the Ozone Generator, voiding the warranty.

  5. Attach one end of remaining Ozone Tubing to the output end of the Check Valve, and secure with Hose Clamp.

  6. Coil some of the Ozone Tubing into a loop, and secure it to the spa frame above the spa water level③.

  7. Attach the other end of the Ozone Tubing to the Ozone Injector④, and secure with Hose Clamp.

  8. Attach Power Cord to Spa Control’s ozone power receptacle⑤.
NOTE: Ozonator comes with AMP-4 connector. If ordered with a different style plug, simply snap-connect the supplied adaptor onto the AMP-4 plug⑥.

  9. Restore power to the spa at the main circuit breaker.

  10. The Spa Control will supply power to the Ozonator as programmed, typically during filtration or circulation cycles. When powered, the Ozonator’s indicator light will glow⑦.
