The Second Scale Interface Kit is designed for use with the Ohaus product Ranger Count 3000. It allows you to connect an additional platform to the Ranger Count 3000.

Interface Installation
- Remove the red interface options cover and break off the plastic blocker from the options cover.
- Install the Interface PCB by pushing it through the pins and securing it with the 4 screws.
- Connect a cable to the interface.
- Place the cord in the groove and put the red interface option cover back on.
Product Usage Instructions
Setup
- Connect the main platform to the 2nd weighing platform.
- In the SETUP menu, switch on the Dual Scale (D.Scale) menu item.
- Set the CAP2 and Grad2 values in the SETUP menu.
- Perform a calibration by pressing and holding the key to switch between the main platform and the secondary platform.
Note: Make sure to perform a calibration of the scale before using the weighing platform. Also, ensure that the weighing unit is set to kg or lb when using the high capacity platform. If the display shows error8.6, long press the [Units] key to switch the unit to kg or lb.

2nd Scale Interface
INTRODUCTION
This Second Scale Interface Kit is for use with the Ohaus product Ranger Count 3000. Through this kit you can connect additional platform with Ranger Count 3000.

INTERFACE INSTALLATION
Install the Interface module on the underside of the balance as shown.
- Remove the red interface options cover. Break off the plastic blocker from the option cover.
- Install the Interface PCB. Push it through the pins and secure it with the 4 screws.
- Connect a cable.
- Place the cord in the groove and put the red interface option cover back on.
SETUP
After the main platform is connected to the 2nd weighing platform, switch on the Dual Scale (D.Scale) menu item in the SETUP menu (see menu structure below).
Then set the CAP2 and Grad2 in the SETUP menu and do a calibration. Press and hold the key to switch between the main platform and the secondary platform.
