Product Usage Instructions

Note: The truck can be charged only when the truck’s power  switch is in the OFF position.

Charging the Truck:

  1. Make sure the truck’s power switch is turned OFF. Locate the charging port on the truck. It is usually located on the rear side of the truck.
  2. Connect the charging cable to the charging port of the truck.
  3. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a compatible power source, such as a wall outlet or a USB port.
  4. Ensure that the power source is turned ON.
  5. The charging process will begin, indicated by a charging light or LED on the truck or the charging cable.
  6. Allow the truck to charge until the battery is fully charged. The charging time may vary depending on the battery capacity.
  7. Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charging cable from both the truck and the power source.

Using the Truck:

  1. Ensure that the truck’s power switch is in the OFF position before using it.
  2. Place the truck on a flat and open surface, away from obstacles or people.
  3. Turn ON the truck by flipping the power switch to the ON position.
  4. Use the provided remote control to operate the truck. Refer to the remote control’s user manual for detailed instructions on how to control the truck.
  5. Enjoy using the monster truck for various activities, such as racing, stunts, or off-road adventures.
  6. When finished using the truck, turn OFF the power switch and store it in a safe place.

CONTENTS

SETUP

  1. Remove stickers on case, and remove case as illustrated.

  2. Hold one end of the remote control and pull upwards. Have an adult remove the screw on the underside of the base and remove the Monster Truck as illustrated.

  3. Remove the four Traffic Cones from the bottom of the base as illustrated.

  4. Have an adult use a screwdriver to remove the battery cover.

  5. Insert 2 x “A/it batteries in the correct polarity position, then replace the battery cover.

  6. Press any button on the remote control. The Frequency Light will light up to show correct battery installation.westminster-0968-WS-Monster-Truck-FIG- \(7\)

CHARGING

  1. Open the charging cover on the side of the remote control and take out the charging plug.

  2. Move the power switch on the remote control to the ON position, insert the charging plug into the charging port on the bottom of the truck, and the charging indicator will light up Charging is in progress.
    Note: The truck can be charged only when the truck’s power switch is in the OFF position.

  3. The Monster Truck is fully charged when the Charging Indicator turns off.

Operating Instruction

  • Remote Control function:
    • After a button is pressed, the indicator light will light up and the truck will act accordingly.
    • When the Forward/Reverse buttons are pressed, the truck will move forward or backward.
    • When pressing the Forward/Reverse buttons and Left//Right buttons at the same time, the truck will move in that direction.westminster-0968-WS-Monster-Truck-FIG- \(12\)
  • Use the Trim Adjustment on the underside of the truck to adiust the straight-line performance.

Caution:

  1. Do not touch the antenna during operation or the remote control range will be affected.
  2. Due to the high speed of the car, it cannot decelerate or stop immediately.
  3. If the car becomes slow during operation, this may due to insufficient power. Charge the car as described in the manual.
  4. When the car is fully charged, stop charging to avoid overheating the battery.
  5. The car cannot be charged when the remote control has insufficient power. When the remote control’s indicator light goes dim, replace the old batteries.
  6. Pay attention to the charging plug and interface when you charge the car.
  7. When not using the car for a long period, make sure the car has more than 50% power and turn off the car. Then remove the batteries from the transmitter.
  8. There is a 1.2V (Ni-MH) rechargeable battery inside the racing car. Charge the car under adult supervision.
  9. Open and remove the packaging under adult supervision.
  10. Keep this manual for future reference.

Important battery Information

  • Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Supply terminals should not be short-circuited. Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Spent batteries should be removed from the product.
  • Rechargeable batteries should be removed from the product and charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries, or new and used batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in household waste or fire, as batteries may explode. Dispose spent batteries safely at local authorities or approved waste sites.
