The BMS Differential Brace is designed for the 2018+ 3.3L Kia Stinger and Genesis G70. It is a product that helps strengthen the rear differential, providing improved stability and performance. THIS PART IS LEGAL FOR USE ONLY IN COMPETITION RACING VEHICLES AS DEFINED UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW AND IS NOT LEGAL FOR USE IN ANY OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE. California law defines a “racing vehicle” as “a competition vehicle not used on public highways.” (Calif. Health & Safety Code 39048) This part may only be used on competition racing vehicles operated exclusively on a closed course in conjunction with a sanctioned racing event. Competition-only motor vehicles may not be driven to a racing event on a public highway and must be transported on a trailer or other carrier. Product Usage Instructions:
- Jack up the rear of the vehicle using either jack stands or a lift. Loosen and pull the 4 bottom bolts on the rear differential cover.
- After removing the lower differential bolts, install the BMS differential brace first onto the differential. Use 4 of the longest bolts provided. Don’t tighten anything down just yet until all diff brace pieces are on.
- Slide the smaller bracket with the two welded nuts into the rear subframe slot as shown. The L shaped bracket will be tightened down to this using two of the shortest bolts provided.
- Attach the large bottom brace to the L shaped bracket using the last two of the medium length provided bolts and lock nuts.
- With the diff brace aligned and in place you can start tightening everything.
- Installation is complete!
