RACKMOUNT IT RM-WG-T7 Rack Mounting Kit for WatchGuard Firebox
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the power supply on the rack and tie it down with 2 zip ties.
- Remove the 4 rubber feet from the WatchGuard.
- Remove the bolt from the side of the appliance with the Torx key.
- Place your WatchGuard unit on the rack and fix the unit with the provided bolt and tighten it lightly.
- Tie the excess length of the power cable down with the 3rd zip tie.
- Connect the cables from your WatchGuard to the connectors. Tip: start with the bottom row.
- Optional: use two zip ties to hold the cables together.
- Place your WG-Rack in your 19 inch rack.
Please ensure proper ventilation according to the network appliance manufacturer guidelines.
Please note that this unit is slightly higher than 1U.
