PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
- Remove the card insert from inside the case
INSERTING YOUR iPAD INTO THE CASE
- Firmly press the left-hand side corners of the iPad into the left corners of the case.
- Firmly press the right-hand side corners of the iPad into the left corners of the case.
- Once all four corners are firmly in position, and the edge of the case fits smoothly around the front outer edge of the iPad, the device is installed correctly into the case.
REMOVING YOUR iPAD FROM THE CASE
- Release the top right corner of the iPad by pushing the corner of the case back and away from the iPad.
- Release the bottom right corner of the iPad by firmly pushing the corner of the case away from the iPad.
- The iPad will be easy to remove once the top and bottom right corners are released from the case.
CHARGING THE KEYBOARD
Insert one end of the USB-C cable into a power source (not included) and the other end into the port on the rightside of the keyboard. The red light will illuminate while charging, and will switch to green when fully charged.
TURNING THE KEYBOARD ON AND OFF
Once the keyboard is charged, it can be turned on and off using the toggle switch that is located on the right side of the keyboard, next to the charging port.
Off = toggle towards the iPad
On = toggle away from the iPad
PAIRING YOUR KEYBOARD WITH YOUR !PAD
The Dux Bluetooth Keyboard links to your iPad via a Bluetooth connection. The first time you use the keyboard case, it must be paired with your iPad.
ON THE KEYBOARD:
- Turn the keyboard on, making sure that the on/off toggle is switched away from the iPad.
- Press and hold the Fn key and the C key at the same time, until the blue light next to the charging port flashes. When this happens, the keyboard is “discoverable” by the iPad.
ON THE WAD:
- In settings, select Bluetooth > On
- Select “Dux Bluetooth Keyboard” from the Devices menu.
- When successful connection is made, the status light turns solid blue for a short time, and then turns off.

Your Dux Bluetooth Keyboard includes status lights that provide information
about the battery power and Bluetooth connection:
