App Download
The app is available for download on most major app stores worldwide. Search
for “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life” in the app store or scan the QR code below.
Wi-Fi Setup
- Download the app and register your account. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and connect to your local Wi-Fi network.
- After successfully logging in, press and hold the ON/OFF button on the controller for at least five seconds. When the light bars light up red and flash rapidly, release the ON/OFF button. The light bars will now be in discovery mode.
- Open the app on your mobile device and click [Add Device] or the [+] plus sign in the upper right corner of the screen. (See Figure 1)
- Enter the password for the currently connected Wi-Fi network and click [Next].
The lights will turn white to indicate a successful connection. When that happens, click [Next], and then click [Done] in the upper right corner of the screen to complete the setup and enter the main control interface of the app. If the above operation is not successful, please return to the first step and repeat the process again.
Unpair Device
If you need to unpair the device, you can do so directly from the app. Click
the button in the middle of the device control interface to enter the device
management page. Click the item you want to remove.

Method 1:
- Hold light bar vertically, positioning stand below on flat surface
- Affix light bar to base, using the clips to align the light bar Method 2:
- eel off the 3M self-adhesive paper and stick it to the base surface
- Wipe adhesive surface, then peel off other side of adhesive paper and adhere to surface

Troubleshooting
- If the device cannot be linked to the Smart Life app, please make sure the device is powered on and the phone is connected to WIFI, and Bluetooth is turned on. When connecting for the first time, make sure your Smartphone is close to the device and the router. Make sure the device is in discovery mode and the red light is flashing. If not, please exit the Smart Life app and then go back into the Smart Life app to connect (make sure the device is in discovery mode and the red light is flashing).
- Sluggish response and loss of connection. Make sure the WIFI network is stable, and the device is powered up properly. Exit the Smart Life program and re-enter the Smart Life program to reconnect.
- Device music sensitivity is not enough. Make sure the controller is close to the music source. Adjust the music sensitivity using the Smart Life app.
- If the adhesive provided is not sticky enough, please make sure it is dry and clean. After installing the bracket, press hard for a few seconds to make sure it sticks securely.
