SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:
To prevent serious injury, please make sure that you get the following safety instructions.

Using the Seatbelt

  1. Starting with the rider sitting in the middle of the seat, pull the two seatbelt tongue straps over the rider’s shoulders.
  2. Align the two seatbelt tongues with the grooves on the tongues facing each other, and press them into one piece.
  3. Insert the seatbelt tongue into the seatbelt buckle with force to click it into place.
  4. To release the seatbelt, press the red button on the seatbelt buckle to re-lease the seatbelt.

  1. DO NOT ride on rough ground, loose soil roads, sandy roads, gravel roads, etc.

Caution

  1. Make sure all parts are present before assembly.
  2. Keep children away from small parts during assembly.
  3. Inspect the devices and electrical wiring, ensuring they are in good condition before installing.
  4. Reversed polarity may cause fire or explosion. Under no circumstance should the terminals have direct contact.
  5. Choking hazard! Keep packaging materials and protective films out of reach of children.

HINTS:

  • Please take out all the parts from the rear trunk box and the hood. Make sure all parts are in before assembly.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Assemble Rear Axle

1-2. Turn the vehicle body up-side down. Remove the washers and locknuts from the rear axle. Insert the rear axle through into the holes in the vehicle body. If the rear axle cannot be inserted, please loosen the screws on the both shock covers and retry. And re-tighten the screws on the both shock covers after inserting the rear axle.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-

Step 2: Assemble the Rear Wheels

  1. Slide a gear box onto the rear axle (“R” labeled gear box should be fit to the “R” side of vehicle body; “L” labeled gear box should be fit to “L” side of vehicle body), and keep the motor and the connector on the gear box passing through the larger hole on the vehicle body.
  2. Slide the driving wheel onto the rear axle. And keep the rear wheel matching up with the gear box.
  3. Slide the Φ10 washer onto the rear axle.
  4. Tighten a lock nut to the end of the rear axle with a spanner. Repeat for the other rear wheel.

  6. Fit the front bumper supports to the front bumper linkage.
  7. Fit the front bumper installed to the vehicle body.
  8. Insert two Φ4×16 screws and tighten with a screwdriver on each side.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 10

Step 3: Assemble the Front Wheels

  1. Adjust the hook shape turn axle so that the hook points to the vehicle’s rear.
  2. Hold the front wheel assembly with the drilled metal flap pointing to the vehicle’s rear.
  3. Thread the turn axle through the two metal bars of the front wheel assem-bly, then hook the turn axle to the drilled metal flap.
  4. Insert eight Φ4×16 screws and tighten them.
  5. Slide the Φ12 washer onto the front axle.

  7. Slide a front wheel onto the front axle.
  8. Slide a bushing onto the front axle.
  9. Slide the Φ10 washer onto the front axle.
  10. Tighten a lock nut to the end of the front axle with a spanner.
  11. Fit the wheel cover to the front wheel. Repeat the procedure 4-10 to assemble the other front wheelMCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 12

Step 4: Assemble the Chimney & Steering Wheel

  1. Turn the vehicle body right side up. Fit the chimney to the hole on the right side of the vehicle body.
  2. Insert a Φ4×16 screw through the vehicle body and into the chimney, and tighten with a screwdriver.
  3. Turn the vehicle body upright. Plug the both two connectors on the steering wheel into the two connectors from the hole in the vehicle body.
  4. Insert the plugged connectors into the hole above the steering wheel linkage.
  5. Insert the steering wheel to the steering wheel linkage, push until you hear it “click” into place.
  6. When installed correctly, the green button on the steering wheel should be in the 2 o’clock position.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 14

Step 5: Assemble the Windshield, Mirrors & Seat Board

  1. Turn the vehicle body right side up. Insert the tabs on the windshield into the holes in the vehicle body, push until you hear it “click” into place.
  2. Insert  mirror to the hole on the side of the vehicle body, push until you hear it “click” into place. Repeat for the other mirror.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 15
  3. Fit the seat board to the vehicle body.
  4. Insert and tighten the two Φ4×16 screws.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 16

Step 6: Assemble the Light Bar

  1. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the back of the light bar linkage.

  2. Insert two x AAA (1.5V) batteries (Not Included) in their correct polarities, refer to the Battery Notice on page 3. And replace the battery cover.

  3. Fit the light bar supports to the light bar linkage. And ensure the locks inside the light bar linkage “click” into the holes on each light bar support.
    NOTE: Make sure the “L” and the “R” light bar supports go onto the correspon-dent sides of the vehicle so that the mounting holes on the light bar support face each other.

  4. Fit the light bar installed to the vehicle body. Push until you hear it “click” into.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 17

Step 7: Assemble the Rear Gear Boxes

  1. Remove the rear trunk box from the vehicle body.
  2. Plug the two connectors from the motors into the connectors from vehicle body.

Step 8: Attach the Rear Trunk Plate & Connect the Power Supply 

  1. “Snap” the rear trunk plate into the slots in the rear trunk.
  2. Replace the rear trunk box.
  3. 3-4 Loosen the hood hooks on both sides of the hood. And open the hood.

Step 9: Assemble the Seat

  1. Fit the seat to the seat back.
  2. Fit the tabs on the seat back into holes in the vehicle body.
  3. Insert two Φ4×16 screws through the seat and into the holes on top of the seat board. Tighten them with a screwdriver.MCBOB-J2-Ride-On-Kids-2-Seater-Car-Truck-FIG 21

Notice

  • The throttle button is only allowed to be operated by an adult. Switch to upper position, only allow the throttle pedal (E) to control the movement of the product; Switch to lower position, only allow the throttle button (F) to control the movement of the product.
  • Always stop vehicle when changing the speed or direction to avoid dam-aging the gears and motor.
  • Pay Attention to HIGH SPEED: Make sure your child knows how to steer, how to start and stop the cars and knows the rules for safe driving.

HOW TO USE

Use with Remote Controller

  1. Put the batteries into controller
    Lift the battery compartment door on the back of the controller and insert two AAA (1.5V) batteries.
    HINT: Batteries not included. Refer to the Battery Notice on the page 3.

  2. Pair the Remote Control with the Car
    Long press the forward and reverse buttons for 3 seconds, and the speed indicator flashes. Then power on the vehicle, the speed indicator goes to long bright, means the connection successful. If the speed indicator no response, means the connection failed. Replace the batteries and retry.

  3. Brake button
    Press the button to stop the vehicle, press it again to release the brake.

  4. Speed selection button
    The switch operates the vehicle to move in low, normal or high speed. HINT: This switch won’t work while your vehicle moves reverse.

NOTE

  • The remote control will enter into sleep mode after idling for 10 seconds.
  • Rebuild connection when you replace the batteries of the remote controller.
  • The remote controller has a limited effective optional radius of 10 meters.

A Press and hold locks inside the light bar linkage, and remove the light bar.
B Remove the rear trunk cover and the rear trunk box.
C Turn over the trunk box, replace the rear trunk box and cover.
D Pull out the adult foot pedals on both side.
E In adult mode, use the throttle but-ton on the steering wheel to control (move/stop) the ride-on car.

Charge the Battery

Notes:

  1. Please fully charge the vehicle for about 10 hours before using it for the first time in case that it will damage the battery permanently.
  2. Do not use the car when it is charging.
  3. Normal charging time: 8-12 hours (DO NOT EXCEED 20 HOURS.)

  5. The charging of the car battery should ONLY be done by an adult.
  6. ONLY use the original charger and battery.
  7. Do not charge the battery if the plug or the cable is wet.
  8. The duration of the battery is for reference only, and the actual usage time may vary.

  1. Loosen the hood hooks on both sides of the hood, and open the hood.
  2. Plug the charger port into the input socket (the socket is on the right side of the battery box).
  3. Plug the charger plug into a wall outlet. The charging will begin.

How to Enter Wireless Mode

  1. When the car is running, press the speaker button once; an audible indica-tion lets you know you have entered Wireless mode.
  2. Search for YJ-XLHP-BT on your mobile device.
  3. An audible indication can be heard when the connection is successful.
  4. To exit the Wireless mode, press the speaker button once to exit.

How to Enter Memory Stick Mode

  1. Insert the memory stick to the onboard memory stick port when the car is running.
  2. The music on your memory stick will be played automatically. Press the music button once to play the next track.

How to Enter Music Mode

  1. When the car is running, press the music button once, or press the speak-er button twice to enter Music mode.

  3. When in the Music mode, press the square button on the left side of the steering wheel to switch in between the four onboard soundtracks.
  4. Press the speaker button once to exit the Music mode.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Inspect the ride-on car frequently and replace the damaged, missing, or worn parts.
  2. Place the car indoors or cover it with a trap, protecting it from the rain.
  3. Keep the car away from all heat sources, such as stoves and heaters
  4. Do not expose the car to sunlight for an extended period to avoid discoloration.
  5. Clean the car with a soft, dry cloth, do not spray the car with water.
  6. Do not clean the car with soap or abrasive cleaners.
  7. Do not drain the batteries, or permanent damage may occur.
  8. Cut off the power supply and disconnect the battery when the car is not used for an extended period. To protect the battery, charge the car once a month.
