Functional Overview
Button instructions:
- Button M : Long press 3 seconds to turn power on/off;
- Short press to shift display between trip mileage/total mileage/running time Button +: Long press to turn front light on/off;
- Short press to increase speed grade. Button -: Short press to decrease speed grade.
About the gears
- Grade 0 , simple riding without power support;
- Grade 1 : low speed, max. around 12km/h;
- Grade 2 : medium speed, max. around 18km.h;
- Grade 3 : high speed, max. around 25km/h
Icon instructions:
- lights up when front light is turned on
- lights up when braking
- Throttle problem indicator
- Motor problem indicator
- Controller problem indicator
- Shift display between single trip mileage/total mileage/riding time 2 while going up slopes.
Bike structure and functions
Unfolding the bike
- Hold the bike frame and extend it
- Close the folding lever and lock it as in picture
- Locked correctly in picture

Extend/Unfold the stem
- Hold the bike frame and straighten the stem
- Lock the stem folder as pictured
- Shake the stem to make sure the stem is locked
- Open the stem lock and stem folder as pictured
How to assemble the stem folding clamp
- Open the stem folding clamp as pictured and loosen the screw nut
- Put the loosened screw nut and washer aside, Please note: do not remove this screw bolt
- Put handlebar into the stem folding clamp and tighten the screw bolt into as pictured
- Tighten the screw nut and adjust the handlebar, and then lock the stem folding clamp
How to assemble the seat post
- Hold the bike and open the seat post clamp as pictured
- Insert the seat post and adjust the screw nut then close the clamp as pictured; press down the saddle to make sure the seat post has been inserted tightly
- Open the seat post clamp and move the saddle up/down as pictured
- The saddle cannot exceed the warning line in the picture
How to fold/unfold the pedals
- Hold the bike and unfold the pedals as pictured

How to check power on status
The charging port is on the left-hand side of the bike frame, as pictured.
Long press the ON/OFF button on the meter to power on the bike and check
whether charging status is normal.
How to remove the battery
- Power off the bike and unlock the bike frame folding lever
- Fold the bike as pictured and remove the battery key (plugged into bike cables) to open the battery lock; the battery lock is under the bike frame, as pictured
- Remove the battery as pictured
- Slot the battery into the frame as pictured, lock it, take off the key and plug back into the cables
How to charge the bike
- Uncover the silicon lid to charge from Charging port on bike frame, as pictured
- Remove the battery from the bike frame to charge
Precautions
A helmet, knee-pads, elbow pads and other protective equipment are recommended for beginners when riding
- Please do not ride off road; this bike is designed for city cruising, not for MTB and racing, etc.
- Please fully understand local traffic regulations before you set off
- To prevent accident or injury, make sure your helmet, gloves, elbow pads, knee pads and other protective equipment are correctly worn before riding
- Safety check: check the battery of your FATtwenty e-bike, as well as the cycling conditions, before riding
- Do not ride in slippery conditions, especially on snowy and icy roads
- Do not ride on slopes over 15°
- If you must ride when it’s raining or snowing, maintain a low speed and keep distance from the vehicle in front of you in case you have to stop suddenly
- Kids under 12 years are advised not to ride the FATtwenty e-bike
- Avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration, do not lean forwards or backwards while riding, and ride at low speeds
- If the battery is running low, maintain a low, constant speed and charge the battery when you get the opportunity
- If you cannot avoid a fall, always prioritize your own safety above that of the bike
- In case of emergencies, keep both of your hands on the handlebars when riding
- Do not store your bike in the trunk of your car in hot weather
- Keep an eye on the surroundings, ride in a controllable position and avoid potential collisions
- Keep a safe distance when riding together with other people; do not ride side by side on the road
- Do not ride in poorly lit conditions and be cautious; reduce speed and walk with your bike if necessary
- Do not ride backwards or perform actions that might endanger yourself and others when riding
- Do not lend your FATtwenty e-bike to people who are not familiar with the manual
- Do not ride your bike if you feel ill or have taken drugs or consumed alcohol
- To avoid getting your fingers stuck between the tire and frame, do not lift the bike using the tire
- Accelerate slowly when riding; sudden acceleration may cause imbalance and personal injury
- Check if the brakes are working properly before you ride
- The power assist sensor (PAS) will start working after 3/4~1 rotation. Mind the crank when you walk.
- The left-hand brake lever controls the front brake; right-hand brake lever controls the rear brake
Battery and charging
- Charging between temperature range 0°C-45°C and discharging between -20°C-60°C. Keep the battery dry
- Keep the battery away from acid, alkaline, water, flames, heat and high temperature environments
- Do not wrongly connect the positive and negative power supply; do not damage, disassemble or short circuit the battery
- Charge the battery with the supplied adapter and charger, charging time must not exceed 5 hours
- The charging current must not exceed 2A
- If the battery will not be used for a long time, keep the battery in a dry and cool environment, and charge it for 2 hours every two months
- Perform charging in accordance with the manual, otherwise we will not accept responsibility for potential damage
- Charge in a dry and cool environment; do not charge in closed or high temperature areas
- Unplug the charger in time once charging has completed; do not plug the charger into the power source when not charging
- First plug in the battery, then connect the power source when charging. After charging, first disconnect the power source, then unplug the charger
- If the charger indicator stops working or the charger overheats and causes a strange smell, unplug the charger immediately and repair or replace the charger
- Keep the charger away from fluids during use and storage; avoid penetration into the charger in order to prevent short circuit
- Try not to carry the charger around with your bike. If you must, make sure it is well protected and stored in your toolbox
- Make sure the battery does not fully discharge during use
- Do not disassemble or replace any part of the charger by yourself
- Do not put the battery in places where it may fall on the ground; this may lead to battery leakage or overheating that results in fire or explosion

Warning and Security
- Please do not ride on roads that are forbidden in the highway code
- Please do not throttle the bike when walking
- Do not remove your hands from the handlebars when riding
- Please do not ride on stairs or elevators
Daily maintenance
- Please store your bike away from sun exposure and rain.
- Regularly check the screws and small parts on the bike, and tighten if necessary.
- Do not use alcohol, gasoline, paraffin, acetone or other corrosive chemical solvents to clean the bike; they may corrode the bike.
- Elastic standard of the chain: the upper and lower chains are ≤10mm; if the chain is loose, the rear wheel nut can be loosened. Depending on the condition of the chain, it can be tightened with the tensioner and the rear wheel nut.
- If the disc brake is rubbing against the tire, adjust the position so all friction is removed. If the brake disc has tilted too far or the brake disc is disabled, it may be necessary to replace the brake disc.
- Grease the frame-folding screws every 3 months and make sure the chain is always lubricated with anti-rust oil.
- If the shock absorber fails or is damaged, the original shock absorber must be replaced with a new one to achieve the best possible shock absorption.
- Do not rinse the e-bike with water in order to avoid accidents involving internal electronic components and wiring.
