The KIDOO™ table is a fantastic addition to children and youth therapy. It is a great help in everyday activities such as rehabilitation but also during play, study, or having meals. An eye-catching wooden design is an ideal complement to a KIDOO™ chair.
The universal character of KIDOO™ table makes it perfect for other chairs as well as an independent product. The ergonomic shape of the tray, an adjustable height, and the possibility to adjust the tabletop tilt increase the practicality and comfort while using the table. All of the above make the KIDOO™ table an irreplaceable element during the therapy of your child.

THE PURPOSE OF USER MANUAL

The user manual contains basic information necessary to properly:

• prepare the table before use,
• use the table,
• maintain and clean the table.

The user manual should be kept in an easily accessible place. It is designed for people who look after disabled children and for both doctors as well as physiotherapists who operate the device. Before using the product, the user is obliged to familiarize himself/herself with user manual.
Remember that complying with guidelines is highly important. It assures safety and extends the durability as well as the aesthetics of the device.

INDICATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE

The KIDOOTM table can be used in such situations as:

• Diagnosing the user – the possibility of adjusting the KIDOO™ table to the user’s individual needs helps to analyze the clinical picture of the user, their behavior and reflexes while sitting on a bed, in a car seat, chair or wheelchair.
• Therapy monitoring during the treatment process – the daily use of the KIDOO™ table allows you to monitor the user’s behavior during the rehabilitation process in the same, comparable conditions. It helps to choose appropriate and targeted methods to obtain the best possible results of the therapy.
• Soothing or compensating the effects of injury or handicap – the KIDOO™ table can be successfully used in various situations during everyday therapy, recreation and work and, at the same time, it improves the quality of everyday life. Having meals or doing simple manual activities with the use of the KIDOO™ table becomes much easier. The large surface of the table top makes it possible have all the necessary items within the reach of the user.

HOW TO USE THE TABLE

KEY

ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE TABLE

To adjust the height of the table you should:

1. Unscrew the legs (fig. 1) using hex keys included in the kit.
2. Adjust the required height and tighteen the screws (fig. 2).

ADJUSTING THE TILT ANGLE OF THE TABLE

To adjust the tilt angle of the table you should:

1. Loosen the knobs (fig. 3) on both sides of the table.
2. Adjust the required angle and tighten the knobs (fig. 4).

• Before using the KIDOOTM table, make sure that all the knobs and screws of the adjustable elements have been tightened!

SAFETY RULES

KIDOOTM table has to be used in compliance with the guidelines in this user manual.
Before every use, it is necessary to prepare the user and the device!

2. Before using the product, it is essential to make sure that there are no damages or different faults which could endanger user’s life. Make sure that all parts are operating correctly and are properly mounted. Moreover, make sure that there are no cracks as well as deformities.

3. The table top should be cleaned with soft cloth and publicly available, mild cleaner.

4. It is forbidden to use table for different purposes than it is intended to.

5. Pay your attention during the board tilting. Please do not place the fingers between the board’s and table’s frame during adjustment.

6. You can disinfect the table top and metal parts of the table with a generally available alcoholbased high-concentrated disinfectant. When choosing an alcohol-based disinfectant, check on a small, invisible surface whether the product will not discolor or damage the disinfected surface.

Incorrect product adjustment can lead to such side effects.

• The product contains small parts which can be swallowed by children.
• It is forbidden to make any changes in the construction of the table, as it is dangerous for the user as well as will void the warranty.
• This device can be only used inside buildings.
• The manufacturer takes full responsibility for the proper functioning of the table only when the user strictly follows the user manual.
• In case of any damages, it is essential to contact the person who sold you the product.
• Serious incidents involving this device should be reported both to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in your country.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

• Akces-MED Ltd. sells products free from manufacturing defects or faults.
• The manufacturer gives the purchaser 12-month guarantee from the date of purchase. All defects revealed during warranty period will be repaired free of charge.
• All defects which appear after warranty period can be repaired only when the user will pay for it.

TECHNICAL INSPECTION

Technical inspections should be performed regularly. Before servicing, the product should be thoroughly cleaned to reveal any hidden damage.
