Product Usage Instructions
1. Fitting the Cervical Collar:

Cleaning instruction The device is single-patient use. During use it can be
washed by hand with neutral soap at 30° C. Dry in the air, away from heat
sources. Do not bleach. (See also Other warnings). Medical Device Limitations
Do not use the medical device if its mechanical integrity is not certain. The
device is not sterile: do not use in the operating theatre. Do not place in
contact with damaged skin. In the presence of sores and/or infectious states,
contact your doctor for appropriate treatment. Do not modify the structure of
the device to avoid altering its functionality. Use for intended use.
Contraindications There are no contraindications to report. The medical device
must be used following a clinical evaluation carried out by a specialist
doctor, who, after the diagnosis, will identify the most suitable one to use
and will follow the clinical path.It is advisable to use a device of a size
suitable for the patients anthropometric measurement. Side effects No side
effects worth reporting have been detected, other than those that may arise
from the use of the medical device by subjects allergic to the materials used

D EL100 – EL103
Intended use: Medical device intended to be used for mild to moderate
cervicobrachial pain and minor traumatic pathology.
How to use: D EL100: Fold the front part of the collar and shape the chin by pressing the rivet into the hole; Slide the back part of the collar under the patient’s neck; Position the front part of the collar under the chin for patient comfort; Close with Velcro® tape. D EL103: Separate the two parts of the collar; Fix the rivet located on the chin guard (front), inserting it into the appropriate hole, giving anatomical shape to the device; Secure the chin guard of the collar with Velcro® tape, after placing it on the part of the patient’s neck; Slide the back part of the collar under the patient’s neck, securing it with Velcro® tape to the chin guard. It is recommended not to tighten the collar too much. Material: Rigid polyethylene with internal padding in polyethylene sponge, Velcro® tape, polyamide rivets. Radiolucent Sizes: Infant, Pediatric, Stout, Small, Medium e Large. Warnings: Use under medical supervision. Use in combination with a layer of tubular mesh to be placed between the internal surface of the devide and the patient’s skin is suggested. You must report any serious incident that occurs in relation to the medical device to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the EU Member State in which you are established.
