How to use the FuelTank Classic
Connect the FuelTank Classic to your mains supply.
Check your effect units to make sure that the poles match those on the FuelTank power ports. (This is very important. “Minus” must be on the centre pin.)  Plug your boxes  nto the relevant power ports, turn them on and start layingdown the grooves!

Troubleshooting

My effects sound awful
You’re probably drawing more than 500 mA per section. Check your effects for how much power they require and disconnect accordingly. You’re in America and you’ve forgotten to switch the mains selector over to 115 volts. The FuelTank Classic is on, but my effects aren’t. Is everything plugged in and switched on? Did you check the polarity of your effects? Hurry up and disconnect the power, then check that the polarity is correct. Remember, minus must be on the centre pin.
I can hear an irritating hum
This sometimes occurs when numbers of effects are connected together in series. Try using the link cable to connect the first five effects units Some pedals generate more background noise than others. Try moving your FuelTank Classic and placing your noisiest pedals furthest away from it .

The FuelTank Classic power light isn’t on
If you haven’t forgotten to turn on the mains supply, there’s been a short- circuit. Turn off the FuelTank Classic immediately and check all units thoroughly. For example, is the FuelTank mains cable connected properly? Are all the effects’ polarities correct? Are you home from America and have forgotten to switch the mains selector back to 230 volts? If you cannot find the problem, contact your local T-Rex dealer. Do NOT – repeat NOT – take the Fuel Tank apart yourself.
