Introduction

Kabeldirekt is a 25ft long cable. This is audio Transmit in brilliant single Quantity with this twin phono cable. The PVC jacket that covers the high- purity copper conductors and a double screen made of aluminum-Mylar foil and a closely woven aluminum braid provide optimal durability and interference shielding.  The cable’s 75-ohm impedance allows you to connect your analog or digital audio equipment, making it better than conventional coax cables that can only handle analog signals.

Is a phono cable the same as an RCA cable?

In terms of connection design, RCA and phono are identical. However, as technology improved, the RCA connector came to be utilized in a variety of different devices, including televisions, VCRs, DVD players, and so on.

Are gold RCA cables more reliable?

Are gold-plated cables better sounding?

Myth: Gold-plated connections sound better than tin or nickel connectors. Fact: While tarnished connections might cause difficulties, there is nothing about gold that makes it sound better than a clean connection made with conventional materials. Better conductors (copper or even silver) and gold- plated connections are used in high-quality RCA cables. Thicker conductors are preferable in general.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you pull them apart into separate cables?
Yes you can, in fact, that’s exactly what we did to make 2 separate cables for 2 different subwoofers

  • Is this a coaxial cable with an RCA plug on the end?
Coaxial simply refers to having two conductors radially positioned to each other. They have a common “Axis” that they are relative to. Any cable that has the conductors, or method to transfer current, not side by side in some means is coaxial. RG-6 or RG-59 which are two types typically used when installing Residential and Business Internet, with “High-Speed Broadband”, is probably the most familiar to people. It has thick insulation surrounding the main conductor, typically being made of copper, with a second conductor typically being a braided layer with a piece of foil and some form of plastic or other means to maintain isolation from interference between it and the centermost conductor. After this, there is usually another layer of insulation, being black or white the most common colors that is meant to protect both of these from damage. The cables sold here, the RCA stereo Cable and cord, are coaxial with male RCA connectors on each end while having two cables bonded by means of the insulation that is surrounding the outer or ground “shielded” conductor

  • Is the cable flexible? Or it’s very rigid?
    The cable is quite flexible.

  • Can I connect them to a subwoofer and from the subwoofer to satellite speakers?
These are standard issue RCA low-level connectors. Although there are some subwoofers that will receive a signal through them, use their internal crossover to extract the low frequencies, and then pass on the signal for amplification to a preamp, integrated amp, or receiver, that method of doling out the signal is very uncommon. I assume because it’s a bad idea. I guess the answer is “which subwoofer” and only try this if you study the subwoofer manual and it indicates that it can do what you want. I use a y connector to send a low-level signal from the source to both my subwoofer AND my integrated amp at the same time, which is the more common method of getting the job done.

  • Can this cable be used to connect 2 subwoofers in series?
I am not sure of that but I would think not. Since one end of the cable connects to the receiver and the other end connects to the back of the subwoofer, I do not see how more than one connection can be done.

  • Are these particular RCA cables cl rated? I need to run them inside the drop ceiling from the projector to the home theater receiver. any help is appreciated.
I’m not familiar enough with that type of usage to say. But these cables are seriously tough. And very well made so in my opinion, they should be able to suit your purposes just fine. The quality is outstanding.

  • Can I use these to string along parallel with my power cable for an amp/sub that i am installing in a car?
    Should be able to.

  • Does the shielding provide acceptable noise rejection for high-end automotive applications?
Do the cables run in parallel as a single (flat) unit and not split apart until near either of the ends.

  • Will these help with turntable hum?
If this hum only appears when your turntable is on and is gone when it’s off you probably have a bad or no ground. A cable is not likely to be the source.

  • So I can use these as an interconnect between preamp and receiver – Can I also use them as a phono cable between turntable and preamp?
You can use them on anything with RCA connections! I use my 20′ cables to connect my turntable to my surround system across the room and they work great.

  • Can I use it to connect a keyboard to the mixer?
    Yes

  • What is the shielding made out of? Is it copper?
100% oxygen free double shielded core.
