HOW TO OPERATE?

  • To turn on DISCOROBO, press the button on its belly and its hands and its face will light up. Play the music from any music source and the robot will move to the rhythm. The stronger the beat, the better the groove.
  • To turn off DISCOROBO, press the same button again.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • Holding the robot by its belly is highly recommended.
  • To bring DISCOROBO back to its initial position, turn on DISCOROBO and then turn it off after 2 – 3 seconds.
  • DISCOROBO will perform better when the music has distinctive beats and the robot is placed near the music source. As the beat sensor is located at the front of the robot, please put the music source in front of the robot for better beat detection.
  • DISCOROBO dances well with high-quality music that has a bass sound. Therefore, the robot might not perform properly if the music doesn’t have a distinctive bass sound or comes from a music source that doesn’t produce bass sound such as phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Excessive background noise could affect the beat detection ability of DISCOROBO.
  • Quickly recharge when DISCOROBO shows the following signs: face flashes continuously, movements become slower, movements no longer match with the beat.
  • Turn off DISCOROBO when not in use.

ANDROID/ISO/WINDOWS APPLICATION

  • The DISCOROBO Coding app will allow users to connect with the robot and teach the robot to dance using coding language. Search for this app in Google Play or App Store using the keyword “DISCOROBO Coding”. Download the app, then connect with the robot via Bluetooth.
  • For more detailed information, please read the instructions on the DISCOROBO Coding app. Frequent updates of the DISCOROBO Chat app will be notified on TOSY website at: www.tosy.com.

TOUCH SENSORS

DISCOROBO is equipped with three touch sensors: one on the forehead and two on each side of the chest. When DISCOROBO is activated, touching these spots will trigger random verbal or gestural reactions.
