TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:

Make sure you never place the trolleys upside down. This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully. Make sure you prevent any drastic vibrations during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in open air (not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:

  1. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.

  2. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from obstacles for more than 10cm. It’s back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a brick wall etc) for more than 20cm.

  3. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot withstand high temperatures. This could cause fire hazard.

  4. Avoid blockings of the ventilation grille.

  5. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time needed.

  6. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
    Before starting up, you should check whether the socket you want to use is grounded.

  7. The supply voltage of the device (230 Volt/50 Hz/1 Ph) must be compressed with the voltage of the mains.

  8. The user must install a suitable power switch, fuse, and earth leakage breaker near the device. Make sure that the switch is always easily accessible, so that it is easy to operate in the event of danger and immediate action can be taken.

  9. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands. This is very dangerous.

  10. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected.

  11. If the plug does not connect properly to the socket, you are not allowed to connect it.

  12. Before usage you should check whether all components are available and whether the appliance is not damaged (please pay extra attention on the wheels and the push handles).

  13. Make sure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not.

  14. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model.

  15. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the appliance, do not do this by yourself. This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.

  16. If there are any abnormal phenomenon’s during usage, you must turn off the appliance immediately. Please contact your local dealer in case of doubt about the product it’s safety. Again, do not repair the appliance by yourself! This should always be done by a technical professional.

  17. During operation or cooling down: always keep the appliance out of reach of children. This, mainly to prevent danger and burning injuries.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DEGREASE:

  1. Open the door.
  2. Before putting the appliance into operation, clean the inside with warm water, a cloth and a small amount of detergent. Never rinse the appliance under the tap or by use of a water hose / sprayer, this can seriously damage the electrical components. In addition, before putting the appliance into operation, make sure that you have dried it properly.

REGULAR USE:

  1. Never use other spare parts than the ones which are from Cater Chef. Cater Chef is not taking any responsibility for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.
  2. Do never cover the appliance with foil. This could cause overheating and therefore danger.
  3. Make sure you take the time to let the appliance reach the desired temperature.
  4. Only place the trolley on straight surfaces. Although the wheels have brakes, the weight of the trolley can tip the trolley if it is not placed on a straight surface.
  5. If you want to leave the appliance and its surroundings, the appliance must be switched off and the plug must be removed from the socket. Make sure the switch is turned OFF before you cut the electricity from the socket, this is to prevent short circuit or danger.
  6. Never leave the surroundings of the appliance during operation.
  7. Never move the appliance during operation (when it is connected to the power supply).
  8. Never touch the appliance (besides the control panel, the brakes and the push handles) during operation.
  9. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.

If the motor or fan is defective, please contact your local dealer. Do not tinker with the door independently. Once the motor or fan has been determined to be faulty, it is advised to replace the complete door.
How do you remove the door?
If you want to use the trolley unheated and/or unclosed, you can do this by carefully removing the door from the trolley.
Do this as follows:

  1. Open the door.
  2. Hold the door firmly with 2 hands and lift it up gently (the door is now free from the hinges).
  3. Move the door carefully and always keep it indoors (and dry).
  4. If you want to replace the door on the trolley, you are requested not to do this alone, but with the help of a second person. This will make it easier for you and therefore reduce the chance of damage. In case you do not have help and you do decide to do it by yourself, always make sure you secure the four wheels with the brakes.

CONTROL PANEL

Switch : ON/OFF.
‘set’: Sets the temperature. Press ‘set’ once and the display will show the maximum temperature of
90 Degrees Celsius. Then set the desired temperature using ‘up’ or ‘down’ and press ‘set’ again to confirm. The display now shows the current temperature.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

  • Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
  • Step 2: Make sure the appliance has cooled down.
  • Step 3: Clean the parts and the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of cleaning detergent and then dry it thoroughly. Do not use benzine, thinner, scouring brush or polishing powder to clean the device.

Pay attention!

  • Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap or spray). This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations.
  • Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages the device.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner to (gently) remove dirt and debris from the air-ventilation-grille.
  • Always store the trolley inside and keep it dry.
  • Before maintaining the appliance, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.

If the mixer does not work or is damaged, check the following:

  1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
  2. Whether the plug and/or the cord is damaged;
  3. Whether the microswitch works.
    If it is number 2 or 3 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.

According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
