- Turn the bracket clockwise to position the hose outlet pointing down. If it does not turn, loosen the ball Joint nut slightly by turning it in a counterclockwise direction, then tighten it back after you are done.
- Screw the conical nut with the hose washer in place onto the hose outlet. Make sure the washer is positioned FLAT and STRAIGHT inside the connection nut of the shower hose.
- Screw the conical nut with the hose washer in place onto the handheld filter shower head, then insert a handle into the holder. Make sure the washer is positioned FLAT and STRAIGHT inside the connection nut of the shower hose.
Have a Leak? Make your shower 100% leak-free in less than a minute!
The internal connection nut is not evenly pressing against the edge of the shower arm thread. This is usually the result of the washer not being nested correctly. To ensure proper sealing, the washer must remain flat and upright inside the connection nut.
- Adjust the position of the washer by pushing it down with your finger, or using a screwdriver or pointed metal tool to press down around the washer edges until it nests completely FLAT and STRAIGHT inside the nut.
- If the leak is caused by a damaged washer surface, please use a screwdriver or pointed metal tool to pull out the washer from the connection nut, tum it up-side down, and nest back into the nut. If the original washer was broken totally, you can replace it with a new one(included)
- If the leak is caused by worn shower arm threads, wrap some plumber’s tape (included) around the shower arm threads.
Precautions for Use
- During the installation process, tighten the connection nut by hand only. Do not use a wrench or pliers. Over-tightening the connection nut can cause the washer to shift and be squeezed into the shower arm. Only use plumber’s tape on the threads of the shower arm when necessary.
- Cleaning : Regularly clean the shower head to remove any mineral deposits or debris that may affect its performance. If the water flow becomes uneven or sprays in different directions, remove the shower head panel and clean it. Once cleaned. the water flow should return to normal.
- Personal Comfort: Adjust the water pressure to a level that is comfortable for you. If you feel the water pressure is too strong, you can press the on/off button down a little. You can adjust the amount of pressure you press to get the right water pressure according to your preference.
- Filter Replacement : Follow the instructions for replacing the filter cartridge when needed. Regularly check the filter’s condition and replace it to maintain optimal filtration performance.
