Helptul Tips on Using FM Weyager:
- FM Voyager has a typical effective range of 5 ta 10 feet, but this range will depend greatly on the quality of the receiver and the environment in which the product is being used. FM Voyager uses the 1/8” retractable cord as an antenna. For maximum range, make sure the retractable cord ts fully extended.
- If the sound is not clear, you may need to adjust the volume of your music source. Too low of a volume may result in excessive background “hiss”, while too high of a volume may result in audible distortion. Keep in mind that adjusting the volume of your music source will also affect the received volume. Also make sure that no radio station is interfering on this channel.
- Hearing a slight “hiss” or “static” on your FM Radio is normal, especially during quiet intermissians.
- You may need to select a different channel to reduce/eliminate interference from local stations as you drive from area to area.
- If the FM Voyager does not turn on (the lights do not come on) when plugged in, check the fuse box in your vehicle ta make sure the fuse to the cigarette lighter adapter is intact. If the fuse in your vehicle is okay, unscrew the cap on the FM Transmitter and check the fuse inside. If necessary, replace the fuse with an identical 0.5 Amp fuse.
