carefully before first use and keep this user manual for future reference. Pay

Safety Precautions
Warnings
- Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Keep the polybags away from children and pets as these bads could cause suffocation.
- Do NOT allow children to play with, in or around the pet water fountain.
- To avoid injury, please keep close supervision when the appliance is used near children.
- Do NOT use the water fountain when the pet is not able to reach the water tray or if it has any physical disability preventing it from drinking.
- Do NOT place any foreign objects in the water tank.
- Do NOT disassemble the pet fountain other than components as instructed in this user manual.
- Do NOT use the pet fountain for anything other than its intended purpose.
- Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do NOT modify the pet fountain.
- Do NOT operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the device yourself. Contact the Alza customer support immediately for further instructions.
- Be sure to disconnect the power supply before maintaining and cleaning the device.
- Always unplug the device if it won’t be in use (e.g., if you’re travelling somewhere with your pets and no one will be using the fountain).
- The power adapter and wire plug must not be flooded during cleaning.
- This product is for indoor use only.
- This product is not allowed to run without water.
- Never pull the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- If the plug of the device gets wet, turn off the electricity of that wall outlet. Do NOT attempt to unplug it.
- Check the device after installation. Do Not plug it in if there is water on the contact points or plug.
- To avoid tripping, always position the power cord out of the way of foot traffic.
- Do not use the appliance in the bathroom.
- Change the filter every two weeks or when the flow rate has been noticeably reduced. For two or more cats, you may need to replace the filters more regularly if it becomes blocked.
Caution
- Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard-plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.
- If any extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.
- Do NOT install or store the pet water fountain where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below the freezing point (0°C).
- Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet water fountain and in the packaging.

Instructions for Use
First, soak the filter in a clean bowl for five minutes, then rinse the filter thoroughly with tap water.
Notes:
- The filter must be fully soaked before the fountain is turned on, otherwise water may not flow through the filter smoothly and cause spillage.
- Do not soak the filter in the water tank of the fountain in case of any surface dust.
Position the pump according
to the bottom slot shape. Press the pump to make the suction cups under the
pump stick tightly. Put the cord in the slot.
Note: The pump must be fixed in the right position in the tank.
Proceed with installing the
soft plug. To prevent water leakage and secure the power cord in the cord
slot, please align the cord slot when installing the soft plug. 
Next, install the silicone
pipe on the pump. Add water to the tank.
Note: Keep the water level between the Min and Max marks. The pump will
fail if it runs dry. 
Install the filter tray and place the filter on the filter tray.
Press down firmly to make sure the pipe outlet comes out.
Install the water tray.
Whether to install the spout depends on your pet’s drinking preference.
Lastly, connect the power
adapter.
Maintenance
- Replace the filter and foam every two weeks.
- Clean the pump and fountain every two weeks.
- To extend the life of the pump, add water before starting the device, do not let it run dry.
Cleaning the Pump
First, remove the pump cover and impeller cover in sequence.
Note: The foam filter is in the pump cover, change the foam every two
weeks. Next, remove the impeller by the brush hook, and use the brush to clean
the parts with water.
Tip: The brush can also be used to clean the spout. 
Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter any problems when using the device, try to solve the issues by following the troubleshooting guide. Should any problems remain, please contact Alza customer support by means provided at the beginning of the user manual.
Water keeps spilling out of the water tray.
- The filter may not be fully soaked. Please soak the filter in a clean bowl (not in the water tank) for five minutes before the initial use.
The pump stops working.
- Fill in water between MIN and MAX marks. The pump fails when it’s running dry.
- Clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin.
- If the above solutions don’t work, please contact Alza customer support by means provided at the beginning of the user manual.
How often should I change the filters? Where to get them?
- It is recommended to replace the filters every two weeks. You can buy new ones on Alza, simply search for “Tikpaws TK-WF002 filters”. If you have any problems with finding the right filters for your water fountain, please contact Alza customer support by means provided at the beginning of the user manual.
Why do I need to soak the filter before first use?
- The filters absorb more water (and therefore clean more water) when they’re wet and expanded. Soaking the filter remove particulate matter that may have settled on the filter.
Water output speed slows down.
- For the first use (or reuse after long-time storage), the water pump needs to discharge air. It’s normal if the water output speed slows down.
Why are there black particles at the bottom of the water tank?
- These black particles are active charcoal released from the filter. Active charcoal is used in the filters to clean the water. They are harmless and some particles being released is a common phenomenon that does not require any attention.

Warranty Conditions
A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2
years. If you need repair or other services during the warranty period,
contact the product seller directly, you must provide the original proof of
purchase with the date of purchase.
The following are considered to be a conflict with the warranty conditions,
for which the claimed claim may not be recognized:
- Using the product for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended or failing to follow the instructions for maintenance, operation, and service of the product.
- Damage to the product by a natural disaster, the intervention of an unauthorized person or mechanically through the fault of the buyer (e.g., during transport, cleaning by inappropriate means, etc.).
- Natural wear and aging of consumables or components during use (such as batteries, etc.).
- Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power supplies, etc.
- If anyone has made modifications, modifications, alterations to the design or adaptation to change or extend the functions of the product compared to the purchased design or use of non-original components.

WEEE
This product must not be disposed of as normal household waste in
accordance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE – 2012/19 / EU).
Instead, it shall be returned to the place of purchase or handed over to a
public collection point for the recyclable waste. By ensuring this product is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences
for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this product. Contact your local authority or
the nearest collection point for further details. Improper disposal of this
type of waste may result in fines in accordance with national regulations.
