NOMAD FACTORY 80s Spaces v2 Trailer
In the Box
Welcome
The best reverbs from the 80s Era!
Nomad Factory, Plugivery and MoReVoX teamed up to bring you the ultimate “80’s Vibe” reverb plug-in.
The typical “80s gated reverbs”, super lush cavernous and sweeping tails, short rooms and chorused verbs are all there with minimal adjustments required. These allow you to quickly dial in, professional sounding reverb effects, and add them to your audio recordings.
The new version of the 80s Spaces plug-in offers even more impulse responses and presets than ever before:
- 250 high quality convolution IRs (+80 with v2)
- 12 reference reverb models (+5 with v2)
- 510 well organized presets (+110 with v2)
Have fun!

Time
Displays the current reverb length. Precisely, the time for the tail to decay to -60dBFS for a 0dBFS input signal (RT60).
The value is recalculated each time the attack, decay or gate values are adjusted.
Waveform
Shows the current reverb tail waveform, with applied attack, decay and gate values. The original (unmodified) tail is shown dimmed behind.
Panel selector
Switch between the INFO and WAVE panels
Meter
Displays output stereo signal level.
LEDs are:
- Green for levels from -60dBFS to -9dBFS
- Yellow between -9dBFS and 0dBFS
- Red at 0dBFS and above
Mix section
The mix section allows to adjust the input and output levels, and the reverb dry/wet mix.
Input
The input signal gain. Also applied to the dry signal (see Signal chain).
Mix
The mix between dry (input) and wet (reverb) signals. 100% is full wet / 0% is full dry.
The mix parameter is not affected by presets.
Output
The output signal gain. Applied to the mixed signal.
Reverb section
The reverb section allows to sculpt the reverb base and modify its properties. It can be used for subtle adjustments or drastic changes in the shape of the reverb.
Pre Delay
Sets the onset of the reverb effect, i.e. the delay between dry signal and reverb.
Attack
Sets the attack time of the reverb.
Decay
Sets the reverb tail length.
Gate
Sets the reverb length cut off. Use in conjunction with the decay parameter to create your classic gated effects.
Soft Gate
When enabled, the gate uses a longer release curve for a softer cut effect.
Effect section
The effect section allows to further process the reverb path with effects, to change the tone, add movement, etc.
Low Cut
Reverb high pass filter cutoff frequency.
Low Cut Slope
High pass filter slope, 6-12-24 dB/octave.
Tilt
Tilt filter amount. Turn left for a darker sound, right for a brighter sound.
High Cut
Reverb low pass filter cutoff frequency.
High Cut Slope
Low pass filter slope, 6-12-24 dB/octave.
Chorus
Amount of chorus effect to add to the wet signal. Adds movement and vintage vibe to the reverb.
Width
Widens stereo image up to 200% or narrows it down to 50%. May affect overall gain.
Color
Yellow switch adds early digital converter effect to the reverb path.
Red switch adds analog color. The effect is heavily input dependent and distortion can occur with high level incoming signals. Input level can be adjusted with the “trim” control.
Reverb browser
The browser allows to refine the list of available reverbs with filters. You can use the up and down arrow keys to navigate between reverbs.
Result List
Lists the available reverbs matching the chosen filters.
