Installation

Screw the two elbows into the booster pump
-
Connect the wiring as illustrated above
-
Turn your RO Supply / Feed Water off
-
Cut the tubing and install the components as illustrated in the diagrams below
a. make sure the cuts are clean and square with no burrs
b. insert tubing fully into the quick connect fittings -
Product water line can be connected to a float valve, an electric solenoid or a ball valve.
-
Turn water back on and check for leaks. DO NOT operate if leaking! Any leakages must be fixed before proceeding.
-
If the water is on and the system is not leaking, plug in the power adapter. The booster pump should turn on at this point. Adjust the water pressure to 75-80 PSI for best performance.
-
To reduce water pressure, first loosen the collar at the top of the pump. Once loose, a 6mm allen wrench can be used to turn the adjustment screw to dial in the water pressure. Once adjusted to the desired level, re-tighten the collar. (fig.1)
-
NOTE booster pumps are at MAXIMUM pressure when it arrives to you. If the water pressure is still too low after installing the booster pump, there may be other issues with the system. Attempting to increase water pressure past the maximum setting will damage the booster pump.
-
-
Once the water level is reached in your reservoir or your ball valve / solenoid is turned off, the high-pressure sensor should shut off the booster pump and the water flow.
- The preset pressure sensitivity works well for most installations. If you find that the booster pump does not shut off after your auto-shut-off valve has activated, your ball valve / solenoid has turned off, or your float has reached the top level, it may be necessary to adjust the sensitivity by adjusting the small screw on the switch. (fig.2)
★ Note – if you shut off the water supply, you must unplug the booster pump. Failure to do so will damage the booster pump
