RODRET wireless dimmer/power switch works with smart lights and plugs from IKEA. It can be used with the DIRIGERA hub to control smart products via the IKEA Home smart app.

IKEA Home smart app

  • For Apple devices, download the app using the App Store. For Android devices, download the app using the Google Play store.

Note: If you have a TRÅDFRI gateway please use IKEA Home Smart 1 app.

Getting started with DIRIGERA hub
Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the instructions on the screen to add the dimmer/switch to your IKEA Home smart system.
Getting started without DIRIGERA hub

  1. Make sure the smart product you want to connect is installed and powered on.
  2. Hold your dimmer/switch close to the smart product (less than 5 cm away).
  3. Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will show on the dimmer/switch. The smart product will pulse with a white LED once connected.

Good to know
Without DIRIGERA, you can connect a maximum of 10 smart products to one dimmer/switch. Remember to add one product at a time. If your products are close together, disconnect the ones you have already connected while adding the next product.

  • Press to turn on, or long-press to increase brightness
  • Press to turn off, or long-press to decrease the brightness

Changing the battery
A red LED light will blink when you press any button the dimmer/switch to show that a new battery is needed. Open the battery lid and replace with a new AAA/HR03 battery. We recommend using a LADDA rechargeable battery. Please note it is sold separately.
Factory reset
To reset and remove all connected products, quick-press the pairing button 4 times (within 5 seconds). Follow steps 1-3 to reconnect your smart products.
Care instructions
To clean the product, wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with a little mild detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth to wipe dry. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the product.

IMPORTANT!

  • The wireless dimmer is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from 0º C to 40 ºC (32ºF to 104ºF).
  • Do not leave the wireless dimmer in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
  • Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless connectivity range.

  • Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
