ROXI US Edition Music System
WELCOME
ROXI is on a mission to get families to listen, sing and play, together. Have a read below for all details on how to get jiving. From all of us at ROXI HQ, we hope you enjoy more music sharing, not headphone wearing.
SETUP
How to setup ROXI
- Plug into power and TV’s HDMI
- Plug ROXI directly into external speaker (if you have one)
- Connect to Wi-Fi or plug into Ethernet
- Switch your TV on and select the right HDMI source
- If you have a smart TV select GAME mode
- Press OK on the controller, it will buzz
- Tap in your Wi-Fi password
- That’s it!
How to wake up ROXI controller
- Press OK and it will buzz to tell you it’s awake
LISTEN
Listen to 10s of millions of songs, thousands of radio stations from across the globe, and hundreds of curated playlists by mood, genre, decade or chart.
Voice Search the music you want
- Press the microphone button
- Wait for the on-screen prompt
- Say the artist, album or song you want
- Select artist, album or song you want from the search results
Save your favourite music in My Music
- Hover the cursor over the song, album, playlist, or radio station you like
- Click on the heart and it will turn pink
- The song, album, playlist or station you selected will now be saved in ‘My Music’
Make a Playlist
- From any song or album, select ‘view tracks’
- Hover over the song title and a menu will appear
- Click on the ‘+’ button on any song, album or playlist, to add it to another playlist
- You can create a new playlist or add your selection to an existing playlist
- Your playlists appear and can be edited in ‘My Music’
Navigate back to the home screen
From anywhere in ROXI either:
- A: Click the home button in the top right-hand corner of the screen
- B: Click the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen
Discover
- Select Discover
- Select either ‘Playlists’, ‘Tastemakers’, ‘Moods’, ‘Genres’, ‘Featured’, ‘Eras’ or ‘Charts’
- Select sub category, e.g. For ‘Genres’: ‘Rock’, ‘Pop’, ‘Urban’, ‘Country and Folk’, etc.
- Click Play on the playlist you want e.g. For ‘Rock’: ‘Feel Good Indie Rock’
Listen to Radio
- Select Extras
- Select Radio
- Select or search for Station
- Click play icon on Station
SING & PLAY
Singalong, karaoke-style, to thousands of songs with, Sing With The Stars. Duet with the original artists using our onscreen lyrics
How to Sing With The Stars
- Go to ‘Party’
- Select ‘Sing With The Stars’
- Select the song you want to sing along to
- Start singing into ROXI controller’s built-in microphone which is positioned at the front of the controller above the buttons
- Control the microphone volume with the controls which appear on the top right hand-corner of the screen
Play the world’s favourite music trivia game and compete with family and friends to be top of the leaderboard!
Play Name That Tune
- Go to Party
- Select ‘Name That Tune’
- Click ‘Let’s play’ on screen
- Select a musical genre or decade
- Click ‘Start’
- Start playing:
- Guess which 30 second song clip is playing from the 4 options displayed.
- Click the song you think is playing.
- The faster you select the correct song, the more points you get.
- You lose a life if you incorrectly guess a song.
- Three lives and you’re out.
- There’s a high score board so you can compete with your friends and family.

Yes – there’s more! Time for some zen sounds, family photos and a content filter for young ears!
How to use Sound Machine
- Select Extras
- Select Sound Machine
- Click either Relax, Mediate or Sleep
- Select from the options e.g. Singing Bowls
- Select ‘Show Visualiser’ On / Off
- Choose ‘Go to sleep in’ time e.g. 45 minutes
- Click ‘Start’
How to use Photo Frame
- Select Extras
- Select Photo Frame
- Click ‘Connect to Facebook Albums’
- Go to www.facebook.com/device on your mobile, tablet or computer browser
- Log into Facebook in the browser with your email / user name / mobile number and password
- Enter to code provided
- Facebook will connect your Photo Albums to ROXI
- Select at least one of your albums: Cover Photos, Mobile Uploads, Profile pictures
- Click Save Albums
- Your saved albums will now be available to use, along with the curated sets of Visualiser images, saved as ‘My Photos’
How to use the Visualiser
- When playing music on ROXI the visualiser will atomically start after around 15 seconds of controller inactivity
- Curated sets of images turn your TV screen into a picture frame
- Select a specific visualiser theme including ‘Space’, ‘Music’, ‘Nature’, ‘Cityscape’, ‘Night Lights’ and more
- If you’ve connected your Facebook Photo Albums with Photo Frame ‘My Photos’ becomes the default visualiser
- The visualiser can be toggled on and off in ‘Settings’ available by clicking on the gear icon on the top right-hand corner of the home screen
How to use Family Protect
- Family Protect blocks explicit lyrics on ROXI
- Family Protect can be toggled on and off in ‘Settings’ available by clicking on the gear icon on the top right-hand corner of the home screen
