Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that you have the necessary components mentioned in the user manual for proper installation.
- Refer to the “Nomadic Energy eBook” for detailed wiring instructions specific to each component.
- All earth cables (yellow & green) should be wired with black cables. The color is for illustration purposes only. Additional black cable has been provided.
- Use a solar extension cable with a cross-sectional area of 35mm2 for solar panel connections.
- Place a fuse as close to the starter battery as possible. Use a 3 core 2.5mm2 cable for the fuse connection.
- Connect the temperature sensor cable using a 16mm2 cable for proper temperature monitoring.
- For 230V loads, use the appropriate cable entry housing with an electric hook up cable and inlet. Make sure to follow electrical safety guidelines.
- Install a 60A midi fuse in the BatteryProtect unit.
- Connect the B2B charger using a 30A fuse and follow the provided wiring diagram.
- Install consumer units and a 12V fuse box using appropriatecables (3 core 2.5mm2, 1.5mm2, and 10mm2).
- Use a 200A MEGA fuse for the 12V+ load and a 12V load.
- Connect the positive bus bar using a 10mm2 cable and a 60A midi fuse.
- Install a 300A switch with M10 lugs and a 400A MEGA fuse.
- Connect the 100/20 charge controller using appropriatecables and a 20mm hole through the roof with a protective gland.
- Use 40A midi fuses for the charge controller solar cable.
- Connect the negative bus bar using 6mm2 cables.
- Ensure that the starter battery and leisure batteries are properly connected.
- It is important to note that electricity is dangerous, and electrical work should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before fully connecting the system, it is recommended to have a qualified electrician check your installation.
