- This electric blanket is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the electric blanket by a person responsible for their safety.
- This electric blanket is not to be used by young children unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to operate the controls safely.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the electric blanket.
- This electric blanket must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.

- This electric blanket supports voltages between 220240V and runs at a frequency of 50Hz. Ensure the power socket used on this electric blanket matches this.
- This electric blanket is designed to be used as an under blanket. Do not use this blanket over your body.
- Ensure the power socket is turned off before inserting or removing the controller cable.
- Do not forcibly pull on the controller cable when unplugging.
- Do not use any other controllers to operate this electric blanket.
- Do not allow the controller/s to touch water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the electric blanket if it is damp or wet.
- Do not use this electric blanket with another heating appliance.

INSTALLATION
Fitting the electric blanket

Place the electric blanket on the mattress with the controller cable and controller at the top of the mattress near the pillows. Ensure the heating elements do not emerge from under the pillow area.
Note: Do not use the electric blanket on top of you. This blanket is designed to be used as an under the blanket. -
Fit the side skirts of the electric blanket around the edges of the mattress then use the elastic skirt to ensure that the electric blanket fits snugly around the sides and underneath the mattress.

Spread the skirt around the edge of the mattress ensuring even tension and the electric blanket is placed evenly over the mattress. The electric blanket should be flat and crease-free. Remove any creases if necessary as they may cause spots of overheating.
Controller
- To install the controller, insert the plug into the connector on the electric blanket until the locking tab snaps firmly into place.
- To remove the controller, lift the locking tab up with your finger and pull the plug directly out. Do not pull the controller cable and do not try and pull the controller plug out without lifting the locking tab as you will damage the socket.
OPERATION
With one end of the controller, the cable is plugged into the connector on the
electric blanket, plug the other end into a power socket and switch the socket
on.
Note: Ensure the controller cable is visible and does not cause a
potential tripping hazard.
Controller

Push the On/Off switch on the controller to the `ON’ position.

Press the Body and Feet buttons repeatedly to cycle through and adjust the temperature settings in the respective areas of the electric blanket. Temperature settings range from 09 and will be shown on the display. The higher the number, the hotter the temperature.
Note: If the temperature setting is set between 59, the electric blanket will automatically switch to the temperature setting 4 after three hours to prevent overheating. -
Press the Timer button to set the electric blanket to run for a predetermined time. The electric blanket can be set to run for 112 hours. After the time has elapsed, the electric blanket will return to standby.

Pressing the Auto button will automatically set the electric blanket to the temperature setting 5 and operate for three hours before returning to standby.
Note: Ensure the controller is exposed to air and is not covered when in use.
After use
When finished, push the On/Off switch on the controller to the `OFF’ position
and turn the power off at the power socket. Unplug the cable from the power
socket and remove the controller from the electric blanket.
CLEANING & CARE
Ensure the electric blanket is disconnected from the power socket and
controller before cleaning.
Hand washing (recommended)
To prolong the life of the electric blanket, it is recommended to perform hand
washing as opposed to machine washing when cleaning the electric blanket.
- Place the electric blanket in a large vessel (for example, a bathtub, or large laundry sink) with cold water mixed with either a natural wool detergent or mild soap flakes.
- Soak the electric blanket for approximately 5 minutes and then gently squeeze the soapy water through the blanket.
- Rinse the electric blanket thoroughly with clean lukewarm water until no more suds are visible. Allow water to drain off.
- Refer to the `Drying’ section of this user guide for drying instructions.
Note: Do not use industrial solvents (for example, benzene, or kerosene) to clean the electric blanket.
Machine washing
- Place the electric blanket in a washing bag and seal it
- Use a small amount of detergent and set the washing machine to a `Delicate Wash’ setting with a temperature not exceeding 40°C. When washed, remove the blanket from the washing bag.
- Refer to the `Drying’ section of this user guide for drying instructions.
Drying
Drape the electric blanket over a clothesline or any other well-ventilated
location and allow it to dry naturally.
Notes:
- Do not dry the blanket under the sun.
- Do not use any appliances to dry the electric blanket (for example, a tumble dryer, or hair dryer).
- Do not wring or iron the electric blanket.
- Do not connect the controller cable to the electric blanket when drying.
- The electric blanket must be completely dry before storing or next use.
Cleaning the controller cable
Clean the surface of the controller cable with a neutral detergent and wipe it
dry with a soft cloth.
Care
Examine the electric blanket frequently to check that there are no signs of
wear and tear or damage. If the electric blanket is damaged, stop use

Storage
If the electric blanket has just been used, allow it to cool down. Fold the
blanket gently and store it in a cool, dry place.
Notes :
- Do not use mothproofing agents on the blanket.
- Do not crease the electric blanket by placing items on top of it during storage.

restart.
• If the display still shows ‘E’, the internal connection of the electric
blanket may have short-circuited and is damaged. Stop use immediately and

The display is showing ‘C’.| The electric blanket is overheating. Disconnect
the controller cable from the power socket and wait until the electric blanket
has cooled down before resuming use.
