Battery Charging
The battery should be charged fully once every month in order to protect the battery.

Bluetooth Pairing
To pair Super Buddy Curio with a Bluetooth device, follow the instructions provided in the Bluetooth device’s user manual.

How to Update the Content
To update the content on Super Buddy Curio, enter the voice message Data Transfer Mode. The device will stop playing any content and be ready for data transfer.

Caution
Please handle Super Buddy Curio with care. Avoid dropping or exposing it to water or extreme temperatures.

  1. Why is my Super Buddy Curio not powering on?
    Check and make sure your Super Buddy is fully charged. In case it does not power on even if fully charged, connect Super Buddy curio to your laptop. You should be able to see the contents on the card. If the content is not visible on the card, it means that the card is corrupted and requires replacement, along with reloaded content.

  2. Why does Super Buddy Curio have no sound when power is on?
    Adjust the volume by turning the power On/Off button. Connect Super Buddy Curio to your laptop. Check and ensure if the folder names on the SD card are exactly as mentioned – RHYM_1 / RHYM_2 / RHYM_3 / RHYM_4 / STOR_1 / STOR_2 / STOR_3 / STOR_4 / SLP_1 / SLP_2 / SLP_3.

  3. What is the Power On and Resume function?
    Super Buddy Curio is coded with a unique power On and Resume function, which allows it to remember where the content was stopped when it was last switched off. Super Buddy Curio continues playing from the exact same folder and exact track when switched on again.

  4. In what order or sequence is the preloaded content played across multiple folders?
    The preloaded content is played in the same order as they were copied onto TF card.

  5. Can the content on Super Buddy Curio be upgraded?
    Yes, you can upgrade the content directly into the memory card.

  6. Will I need AA or AAA cell batteries?
    None of the above. Super Buddy Curio comes with rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

      Note: If USB is inserted in the device while recording, the recorded tracks

BATERY CHARGING

  • Please charge your Super Buddy with the Type C USB cable provided.
  • While charging, a solid red light will appear on top of the Speaker Grill.
  • When Super Buddy is fully charged, the red light will switch off automatically.
  • If the device hasn’t been used for a long time, ensure that it is charged fully once every month in order to protect the battery.

LOW BATTERY

During low battery conditions, you will hear a tone stating low battery please charge.

BLUETOOOTH PAIRING

  • Long press the Mode key to enter in Bluetooth mode.
  • The LED lights on the device start blinking red and blue.
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone/ laptop and open the Bluetooth menu/ list.
  • “Super Buddy S11” shall be visible in the Bluetooth list. Click on it and it shall get paired with your smartphone/ laptop immediately.
  • Enter the password 0000 to pair if required.

HOW TO UPDATE THE CONTENT

  • Connect your device to the computer through type C USB data transfer cable.
  • Open Super Buddy memory drive which is displayed under my Computer.
  • You will see multiple folders named: RHYM_1 / RHYM_2 / RHYM_3 / RHYM_4 / STOR_1 / STOR_2 / STOR_3 /STOR_4 / SLP_1 / SLP_2 / SLP_3
  • Folder Structure (STOR_1 to STOR_4 for Top Circle Key), (RHYM_1 to RHYM_2 for Middle Circle Key), (SLP_1 to SLP_3 is for Bottom Circle key)
  • PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES IN THE FOLDER NAMES.
  • Add new tracks: Select any folder in which you want to add additional tracks and copy – paste your additional track as per space availability.
  • Delete existing tracks: Select any track across available folders which need to be deleted and execute the delete function from your computer.
  • Post adding/deleting tracks, remove the data transfer cable from your computer to start playing the device normally.

Note:

  • Please make sure you are using a type C USB cable that has a data transfer function.
  • During the data transfer, the device should be in Power On mode.
  • Post successful connection with the computer, you will hear a voice message “Data Transfer Mode”. The device will stop playing any content and be ready for data transfer.

CAUTION

  • Always use the product under adult supervision, especially for ages 3 and below.
  • The battery charger is not a toy and should be operated by an adult or kids under adult supervision only.
  • Battery chargers should be examined regularly for damages to the chord, plug, and other parts. If any damage is found, the piece should be repaired or replaced immediately. Do not use a damaged charger.
  • Do not rename folders on the TF Card. They should be named exactly as RHYM_1 / RHYM_2 / RHYM_3 / RHYM_4 / STOR_1 / STOR_2 /STOR_3 / STOR_4 / SLP_1 / SLP_2 / SLP_3
  • Do not charge the battery for long (4+ hours), continuous periods of time.
  • When the power is nearly spent, the product will automatically shut down. Ensure that the power switch is turned off before you start charging.
  • Use a soft cloth to clean the product. Do not directly spray/ immerse in water or any liquid as this could damage it. This product is not waterproof.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, extreme high or low temperatures

    • deleting any particular recorded file directly – press the record button twice when any recorded track is playing to delete said track.
    • You will hear a voice message confirming “File Deleted” after each individual track is deleted. You can also delete previously recorded files by connecting the Super Buddy Curio directly to your laptop/computer.

    Yes, Super Buddy Curio will switch off automatically if no key is pressed for 60 minutes. Once it’s switched on, ensure you press the Power On/Off key before switching it on again.

    Get in touch with us on customercare@tarbull.com or WhatsApp message on +91-99206-16259. Mention your name, phone number, address with pin- code, proof of purchase (GST invoice) and the issue being faced.

WHO IS PROTECTED BY WARRANTY

This limited warranty protects only the original end-user and is not transferable. It is applicable only in India where you originally purchased your Super Buddy Curio product. Any attempts to transfer this warranty shall immediately make this warranty void.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The manufacturer warrants to you that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of “6 Months” from the date of retail purchase by you. During the warranty period product will be repaired without charge for either parts or labor. Any warranty service will not extend beyond the warranty period. Warranty service is applicable only in the Union Territory of India. This Limited Warranty does not cover defects that are a result of

  • Damage caused by accident, unreasonable use or neglect (Including the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance).
  • Damage during shipment (claims must be presented to the carrier).
  • Damage to, or deterioration of, any accessory or decorative surface.
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in your user manual.
  • Damage resulting from the performance of repairs by someone other than an authorized “Tarbull” service Center.
  • Deterioration of component parts, the nature of which is to become worn or depleted with use, such as battery & memory card.

WARRANTY TYPE

  • Carry-in warranty service requires that the product be brought by the customer, at his/her sole cost and responsibility, to the authorized service center along with the original invoice.
  • Document required to obtain limited warranty service: Produce a valid tax (GST) invoice for the product.
  • Coverage: Only technical defects or workmanship issues. Read the Limited Warranty Clause for more details.
  • Not covered: Physical Damage/water damaged/wear & tear. Read the Limited Warranty Clause for more details.
  • Duration of the warranty: Six months from the date of purchase against any defective material or workmanship.
  • Service provided: Repair under warranty.
  • Disclaimer: Warranty shall not cover refurbished unit/refurbished purchase done by the consumer. Warranty will not extend in case the product is repaired or replaced.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITION

  • Without a valid proof of purchase, the company reserves the rights to refuse warranty services.
  • Company reserves the rights to refuse free of charge warranty claim, if the information shared is incomplete/illegible for the claim/fault in the customer detail.
  • This warranty is non-transferrable. This warranty shall be the purchaser’s sole remedy and neither the company nor its service centers shall be liable for incidental or consequential damage or breach of any expressed or implied warranty of this product.
  • Repair or replacement under the term of warranty does not provide right to extension or renewal of the warranty period.
  • Warranty repair must be carried out by authorized service centers only. Warranty cover will be void, if and when unauthorized service has been attempted by the user or any unauthorized service center.
  • Company may use rebuilt, reconditioned or refurbished parts and /or components when repairing or replacing a defective product.
  • The buyer/customer must handle transport/logistics/shipping charges to ship the product to the authorized service center.

GOVERNING LAW

Any disputes arising in connection with this limited warranty (06 Months) shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising here under.
