Product Usage Instructions
Before First Use

  1. Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  3. Wash the drip coffee system before first use.
  4. Fill the water tank with cold water and follow the directions for brewing coffee to make at least two carafes of coffee without using ground coffee.
  5. Switch off the coffee maker and allow it to cool before refilling with cold water.

Setting the Clock

  1. Place the appliance on a dry, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
  2. Plug in the appliance.
  3. To set the clock, press and hold the Clock/Timer button until the desired time is displayed on the screen.

Brewing Coffee

  1. Place the appliance on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
  2. Open the top cover.
  3. Fill the water tank with the required amount of fresh, cold water using the water level indicator.
  4. Add ground coffee to the filter funnel.
  5. Close the top cover.
  6. Press the ON/OFF button to start the brewing process.
  7. When the brewing process is finished, allow the coffee to stop dripping and then remove the carafe to serve.
  8. For a new brewing cycle, switch off the appliance and allow a few minutes for it to cool down. Then, refill the water tank.

Setting Delay Brew Time (Automatic Brewing)

  1. Ensure that the clock time is set correctly.
  2. In standby state with the clock time displayed, touch the Clock/Timer button twice to enter the timer setting mode.
  3. While TIMER is displayed, repeatedly touch the Hour and Minute buttons respectively, or press and hold the buttons until the desired brewing time is displayed on the screen.
  4. Repeatedly touch the Aroma button to set the desired intensity of the aroma (light, mild, or strong).
  5. Touch the Clock/Timer button twice to activate the automatic brewing.
  6. When the delayed brew time is reached, your coffee maker will begin the brewing cycle.

Safety Information

BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials. Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. It is recommended to wash the drip coffee system before first use. Fill the water tank with cold water and follow the directions for brewing coffee to make at least two carafes of coffee without using ground coffee. Switch off the coffee maker and allow it to cool before refilling with cold water.

SETTING THE CLOCK

  1. Place the appliance on a dry, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
  2. Plug in the appliance. The display will show 12:00. Appliance is in Standby mode.
  3. The appliance is in Standby mode now. Touch. The display will show the text “CLOCK”.
  4. While “CLOCK” is displayed, repeatedly touch H and M respectively to set the current time or you can press the key and hold until the desired time is displayed on screen, then release it.

BREWING COFFEE

  1. Place the appliance on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
  2. Open the top cover.
  3. Fill the water tank with the required amount of fresh, cold water using the water level indicator as a guide.
  4. The markings on the water tank window indicate the level of water required to brew the desired number of cups.
  5. To avoid overflow, do not fill the water tank with water past the max line.
  6. Place the filter into the funnel, making sure it is assembled correctly.
  7. Add the desired ground coffee to the filter with the supplied spoon. a level spoon of ground coffee can make a cup of coffee.
  8. Close the top cover until a click is heard.
  9. Slide the carafe into the appliance ensuring it sits correctly on the plate. Before placing the carafe on the plate, make sure the carafe lid is closed.
  10. Plug in the appliance.
  11. Touch . The orange indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the appliance is brewing coffee.
  12. The coffee will begin to flow from the funnel after a short time. It is normal for the appliance to emit steam while it is brewing coffee.
  13. During brewing, you can remove the carafe from the keep-warm plate. The brewing process does not stop during this period and only the flow of coffee from the funnel stops. Do not remove the carafe for longer than 30 seconds or the coffee may overflow from the edge of the funnel.
  14. The brewing process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the button twice.
  15. The appliance is in Standby mode. The orange indicator light will go out.

When the brewing process is finished, allow the coffee to stop dripping and then remove the carafe to serve. For a new brewing cycle, switch off the appliance and allow a few minutes for it to cool down. Then you can refill the water tank.

SETTING DELAY BREW TIME (AUTOMATIC BREWING)
To program your coffee maker to brew at a later time, first, check that the time is set correctly.

  1.  In the standby state and the display shows clock time, touch twice to enter the timer setting mode.
  2. The display will show the text “TIMER”.
  3. While “TIMER” is displayed, repeatedly touch H and M respectively or you can press the key and hold until the desired brewing time is displayed on the screen, then release it.
  4. Repeatedly touch to set the desired intensity of aroma. the display will show the corresponding symbols. ligh t mild strong
  5. Touch twice to activate the automatic brewing.  The white indicator light will illuminate. You can check the delay brew time by touching it. To deactivate the automatic brewing, touch again. The display will show clock time.
  6. When the delayed brew time is reached, your coffee maker will begin the brewing cycle.  The white indicato r light will go out whilst the orange indicator light will illuminate.

AROMA FUNCTION
The taste of your coffee can be optimized by touching the aroma button. The aroma button activates a unique brewing process that enhances the flavor and aroma of your coffee. To activate this function, in the standby state touch . The corresponding symbols will be displayed. Touch to brew coffee. To deactivate this function, in the standby state repeatedly touch until all the aroma symbols disappear from the display.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
For safety, this coffee maker features automatic shut-off protection. When a brewing cycle is finished, the coffee maker will automatically turn off after 35 minutes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Turn off and unplug the appliance from the main socket. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.

  • Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water.
  • Clean the removable parts in warm soapy water with a soft brush or cloth then rinse thoroughly.
  • Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.

DESCALING
Regularly descale the appliance using a specific descaler.

  1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the max line. (Refer to the descaler instructions for the scale of water and descaler.)
  2. Place the carafe onto the plate.
  3. Plug in the appliance and then touch it.
  4. After descaling, rinse out the appliance by operating the appliance using water at least twice (two full tanks of water).
